Hopleys Family Camping is a popular destination for both camping and caravanning on the outskirts of the Georgian riverside town of Bewdley, Worcestershire. With fantastic views across open countryside Hopleys is the ideal location for a relaxing break with (or without) the children. The camp site is very popular, particularly during the holiday season and Bank Holidays and we recommend that you book as early as you can.
We can cater for 50 caravans and motorhomes night and over 100 tents, we have 48 pitches with electric hook-ups & 10 hard standing. The on-site Cafe is open daily for breakfasts and other home-made meals throughout the day. The new Rustic Pizza Shack, with a fully licensed bar, is now open serving our famous artisan pizzas and high quality burgers. To keep kids busy we have a junior assault course, a nature pool and a children’s play area.
The Strawberry Fields Fishing Pool is located at the top of Cleobury Road, Bewdley within the grounds of Hopleys Family Camping in a very serene setting. The fishery is stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach and Rudd. Campers at Hopleys Family Camping can take advantage of an arrangement with local Bewdley business Bewdley Outdoors Bike Hire, who are located at the Wyre Forest Centre at Callow Hill, to hire bikes for use in nearby Wyre Forest or surrounding areas of Far Forest, Cleobury, Bewdley, Stourport-on-Severn, Wolverley, Bewdley or even visit local attractions like Severn Valley, Arley Aboretum, and much more.

stayed close to home and had a fantastic time children enjoyed the play parks and the toilets ect were lovely, will definitely be returning for mini weekends with the family
Positives- warm welcome, staff friendly, easy check in and explanations, site clean and tidy, lovely wildy fishing pool.Negatives, men's toilets always dirty. Terrible service at the rustic kitchen on the only 2 occasions we ate there out of a 10 day stay. No one took our order, had to ask for menus, had to ask for order to be taken had an item missing, had an email later asking why hadn't I turned up for my table booking.
Lovely site and facilities.Need coat hooks adjacent to sinks.
We had a lovely greeting on arrival and was shown to our pitch which was a good size for our tent, our first night stay was peaceful as there wasn’t many tents staying on the Thursday night. The site is well maintained and the toilet facilities are excellent. The scenery was lovely with the forest to the right. Unfortunately the only issue we had was on the Friday night due to a large group of people who had loud banging music on from 8pm to 1.30am and the noise was relentless keeping both me and my partner awake. This is a shame as we were on the understanding there was a 10.30 curfew on music but no one came to check or tell them to turn it off. Luckily I believe they left the next day as we enjoyed a lovely peaceful night on the Saturday evening , if they had not gone we may have had to phone the Warden to complain which we don’t like to do. Other than the incident onFriday night which I understand is hard to control other peoples actions we had a lovely stay and would recommend
Great pitch, friendly and helpful staff. Good cleanliness of toilets and shower block. Lovely location not far from the town and the river. The restaurant on site as great helpful staff and the food was excellent. Good cafe as well which does a great breakfast.
Our cycling club was on a bikepacking trip so only stayed one night, the food and facilities were excellent really nice pizzaWe went back to our tents in the paddock at 10 40pm and one big family were playing music really loud OK we thought it will die down soon ,but it didn't to be fair the staff did come to tell them but as soon as they left The music was back on till 1 30 am so we had no sleep ,with70 miles to ride next day .
We had a good stay until our last night a group of campers arrived and played loud music until 01.30. We did report it to the warden who ask them to switch it off but once she left they turned it on again.
We had a lovely weekend at Hopley's. Staff at The Rustic and round the campsite friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back.
Been here many times ,think it is getting a bit to commercial now ,it was our birthday so mum and dad came over ,warden drove straight up and asked for money ,I know there is a fee for visitors but she was very abrupt and rude ,not a hospitality person at all ,site good but just getting a bit more money oriented now
Very happy with the overall site and really enjoyed our stay and all the facilities including the entertainment and dining area and shops and cafe. The staff were all fantastic, happy and helpful. The service was great from a lovely team. As with all campsites there are things that could be improved such as it was very muddy on the grass area making the toilets muddy in some cases. The loose stone lanes between the camping plots were also causing mess to be carried into the toilets and would be prevented if tarmacked. Overall loved the site and the staff and all the entertainment.
