The campsite is in a great location, close to the lovely town of Bewdley, the Wyre Forest (up steep hill) and West Midlands Safari Park. The campsite staff were really friendly and helpful on check in and throughout our stay. Electricity is paid separately which was new for us but straightforward and not too expensive. The onsite farm shop is wonderful, stocked with local goods and tasty treats. It's also great to have the cafe and restaurant (though we didn't use these due to being out and about or self catering). We were pleased to have the fishing pond and our son tried his luck although needs a bit more practice! The bathrooms are nice and warm with hot water, sometimes there was a short wait for a shower, and some guests left the showers in a slightly dirty state despite the provision of squeegee to clean up after use. It would be good to have more pegs and fixed benches and shelves to put clothes on (but I might be in the minority of not just going to the shower in a dryrob

First time out in our new (to us) caravan. Location was great, a mile or so from Bewdley town centre. An easy walk in then back on the bus.Bar and takeaway kitchen were great and food was delicious. Our pitch sloped a bit, but this also meant a better view over the other caravans. Facilities a bit basic, but clean enough and plenty of hot water.Yes, we will return.

A well maintained and lovely site. I liked the natural areas around the fishing pond, great for a peaceful morning walk. The site gets good sunshine, has plenty of water and electric locations. I didn't use electric but you pay a premium for a pitch that has an electric connection and then also pay for the amount of electric you use... That seems a bit OTT to me. It's £4 a night just to be able to plug in plus whatever you use. It would be good if the website stated how much they charge per kWh.In summary, nice green site, little bit of traffic noise, good washrooms with heated floors, a well stocked shop, cafe and bar on site. All good quality but a little pricey - but then camping has become expensive now....It would be good if they offered a rate for a single person. I'm thinking of staying for 3 weeks for work in April but it will cost almost as much as an air BnB
Amazing site, Amazing staff, would like to mention them all, Trish, Paul, Ian, Donna, Sally, Chrisie, Leo and his staff at the rustic bar, everyone of them make Hopleys a place you want to return over and over again ,they become like a family, will help you in any way they can go above and beyond, thank you from the Bruton family
We had to move pitch as we were on the top of our ramps and still couldn’t get level! The slope was in both directions (front to back and side to side). We asked to move and got a more level pitch up the top of the site.We did a quick walk of the pitches and realised that there wasn’t many level pitches and just to reaffirm our thoughts we were speaking to a couple who have been before and will only stop if they can get a few certain pitches! The shower/toilet blocks (we used 2 different ones) were clean and tidy but found the hot water in the showers was on the hot side and the block up at the top was so hot,we both couldn’t stand underneath it. Very handy to walk into Bewdley.
Apart from the lady that was working covering every job on site the site was poor. Key cards didn't work resulting us being trapped in the site. The bar/restaurant on site was so full and quing out the door with people not even staying at the site meant we had to leave site to eat. But the barriers didn't work so had to keep calling the energy number as the reception isn't manned. A guy answered and clearly didn't want to come out to open the barrier. We eventually left the car up in the car park and walked up to there to avoid the barrier issue. Loose Belgian malenois that jumped all over me scratching and mouthing me while trying to empty waste water. No one at reception to report to and I didn't have my phone call the number when no one there. Didn't know about the electric fee when booking. Just annoying, needs an overhaul. The website portrays something that doesn't exist.
