Having paid £48 for my one night pitch o was a bit miffed having to pay additionally for the shower. Would rather have paid £49 and have inclusive shower.
Great campsite with shop, clean facilities, views good WIFI helpful staff and a bus to the beach at the end of the lane. The drive over campervan drain was really helpful..... so often not available in UK sites.
Excellent site good facilities lovely welcome peaceful.great pub and walks nearby
Wow wow wow what amazing site this was very friendly team will help with anything there happy in there jobs the toilet block amazing so clean.big even paying 20p for a shower no one minded least of all me great walk into town but you can get a bus i would go back again and again people should try this lovely site
The campsite was great, clean and tidy, staff were friendly, brilliant,The only complaint I have is that the water for washing up was lukewarm. I know it’s fed from solar but could do with being hotter to ensure dishes are fully cleaned. This also was an issue in the shower with no temperature control. Overall thouroughly enjoyed our stay
We booked this last minute for an evening out in Lyme Regis. Honestly at first we were put off by the website, which stated all kind of rules and restrictions, but I made a booking over the 'phone and received a very warm welcome and extremly accomodating service, who booked us in for a 1 night stay no problem. the welcome we receive on arrival was equally freindly and fuss free. The site itself is really nicley laid out ( there didn't seem to be any bad pitches!) with great facilities in spotless condition. They had a pizza pop up available for the Friday & Saturday night ( probably seasonal) and are a short walk to local pub. Taxi back from Lyme Regis was £10. overall -the rule and regs on website and notices up everywhere were a bit off putting and did not match the welcoming vibe of the site at all. Seemed a bit pricey, but not the worst in the area, and for a site with great facilities and well maintained like this in high season holiday area should be expected.
This was our second stay at Hook Farm. We stayed on a camping pitch. Our pitch was a generous size and we are very impressed with the facilities. Shower block is spacious, warm and kept very clean. Staff members are very friendly and happy to assist. Would definitely recommend this site, we’re already planning to return soon.
The camp site has access to great walks which was a bonus for us in addition to the clean anf tidy facilities and friendly staff. Our request to be placed near our in-laws was also accommodated, so big thanks to the Hook Farm team!
We came with the question of there was place for one night. We were glad to hear : there is place. Beautiful camping. Good toiletfacilities.
This was our 2nd stay and loved it. The site is very quiet and peaceful, all guests respect the rule around early morning/late night noise. The toilets and showers blocks were kept clean by staff but some guests left hairs in the sink which wasnt great. The washing up area was good but again some guests left them dirty with food on the draining board even tho there was a food waste bin next to the sinks. (Maybe signs in both areas reminding guests to keep clean)? All the staff were friendly and polite. Will be back next year.
