Stayed for 5 days just myself and myLabrador. The site is perfectly situated for walks of all ranges of distance and difficulty so we walked 30 miles over the 5 days including a 10 mile return trip to Lowther Castle which now has a fabulous cafe/restaurant and the prices are reasonable we walked the Dalemain circular which takes you to Dalemain stately home which has a great tea shop and sells craft marmalade. There are other numerous loops around Pooley bridge and the best thing is there are numerous eating establishments all brilliant. The site itself has a breakfast and pizza van available at peak times. The bathroom and shower facilities are 5 star hotel standard. Great site great people and staff.

What a beautiful site. We were in our touring caravan, on a fully serviced pitch. Pitches are large with privacy hedges either side, and the views, WOW. The ground is really hard so rock pegs are needed for awnings etc, and the services are in the middle of the pitch so longer waste pipes, cables will be needed. The toilet block is stunning, one of the best yet, but the showers are triggered by a sensor,and only run for a short time before you end up fumbling to start them again, also, the head is fixed and sprays the whole cubicle, meaning there is nowhere dry to get dressed, maybe a shower screen or curtain is needed. Overall this is a stunning site and close to Pooley Bridge we will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

We were very pleased with our lodge.The staff were very helpful when booking our holiday and while we were there.The site was kept very clean and we would highly recommend it to any of our friends and family.

Our stay in one of the Ullswater Lodges was very comfortable. It was nicely decorated well equipped and immediately clean. We have already booked for next year 😊

Second visit ideal location for a stroll down the hill to Pooley Bridge or to the lake. Site was spotless and toilets 10/10 Will definitely be back

Dorchester 17 did not disappoint. Standard of accommodation was excellent. Great location for access to Pooley Bridge - highly recommend

I highly recommend Hillcroft Park to anybody considering staying there. Ideally situated next to Pooley Bridge. Its great for kids and adults.

I've been coming her for over 15 years and seen the changing of the site over the years go from good to excellent. Never get bored. Keep up the fabulous work
