Crummock Water, a bit farther into the park, offers pitches with a slight slope, providing a central location with breathtaking views of Ullswater and the surrounding fells.

Hillcroft Park takes camping to a whole new level with its 19 eco-pods, offering a blend of comfort and immersion in nature. The Pods are well-appointed, featuring fixed beds, private showers, toilets, kitchenettes, and stunning views. Guests can choose between Glamping Pods designed for up to four people or Camping Pods, suitable for two adults and three small children. Meadowbank Cottage is semi-detached and located close to the entrance of the park. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Being all on the ground floor is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. The cottage has central heating and comprises:

Dining and lounge area has a log burner, TV, blue ray DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. The utility room houses the washer/dryer.

As always a lovely welcome from all the staff.. had a windy 2nd night due to storm Dave. But we were fine and no incidents... fabulously clean as ever and it was great to see the new park is almost finished. We dont have kids but this is a great addition to the park.. the new arts and crafts room is not to my taste but the kids at builder bear on Sunday looked to be enjoying it. Maybe a warm space with coffee making facilities would have been more useful for the poor devil's during the storm would have been more useful... we will be back as ever once my partner recovers from his shoulder surgery and can drive again... thanks for another great stay x

Overall the side is amazing and we tend to come several times during the year . I think will make huge difference if the gravel at the super pitches such as B6 , B7 B23 etc is better maintain and the weeds cleaned. Not as peaceful as usual

We love Hillcroft Park and have been coming here for about 9 years. I have to say this visit was spoilt by the noise of the new play park construction. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was very noisy from 8am until 5.30 pm nearly everyday. It would have been nice to have been warned about this when we arrived. Hopefully it will be finished before our next visit .

The timer on the showers last just about 30 seconds,extremely frustrating with a head covered in shampoo,also during our stay the temperature of the water was only just warm enough,finally, I'm sure it is said that the floor is heated in the shower, I couldn't feel it myself.Other than that,everything is just about perfect

We stayed in Acorn 10 lodge last weekend and what an amazing time we had. The lodge was beautiful, very well equipped, comfortable, spotless and the attention to detail was something else. We have stayed at Hill Croft before lovely campsite with the best toilet facilities !Since our last visit the trees dividing the pitches are taller which whilst provide amazing privacy, for me they feel a little enclosed (we had C32) would be great to have a view.Would stay again, but would pick a different pitch.We had a little robin who kept coming and tapping on our Campervan rear window (cute you think till he started tapping at 5:30am the next morning).Regarding value for money it is one of the more expensive sites, however it is the Lake District.

We have stayed at Hilltop in our small motor home on several occasions, it's a fabulous site to keep returning too. Facilities and site in general are all clean and tidy. Incredibly convenient for walking into Pooley Bridge and experiencing all the local amenities, pubs, cafes, friendly stores. A lovely place to stay either on your own or with family and friends.

What a place! We had a wonderful stay at Ulswater House. The occasion was my daughter's Hen, our party ranged in age from 4 months to 69 yrs.Everything from the booking to leaving was exceptional. The staff during the booking process were so helpful and answered all our questions and enquiries. On arrival, we were blown away by the house and facilities, there was everything you could possibly require. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable, every room had its own bath/shower, toilet and TV. The lounge was large and cosy with a beautiful log burner. The kitchen was well equipped with 3 ovens, and super large fridge freezer.The outside space was great with ample parking and amazing large jacuzzi.The location is so central, pubs and restaurants 'next door' we had some lovely meals out and enjoyed the outside areas at the local pubs.
