Booked on the early saver in March. Friends with camper vans staying to celebrate a birthday. Our pod was behind the shop and all our friends camper vans located close by which made it brilliant for entertaining. Unfortunately the large tent which I believe has a bar in high season was closed. Easy to get taxi to Weymouth. Pod very clean and comfortable. Would recommend a small cafe or bar installed on site could be a little money maker.We did order a curry from Tikka van which located itself on Saturday night but the food was not great.

Ive been coming to this campsite for many years having found by accident, in lovely rural setting, close to Weymouth. West Bay Bridport and Lyme Regis the site is always clean and the Pods are amazing great value for money Daniel and Laura are just amazing and really make you feel welcome would highly recommend

We’ve recently just done our 5th or 6th season to HMF and it is the best site around , we’ve been going to Weymouth for 35 years. So we’ve seen the good the bad and the ugly. It is well placed for surrounding areas to visit. The thing that makes the site exceptional is the presence of Daniel who cannot help enough. Nothing is a problem for him when we ask to organise family caravans are close. The entertainment is very good and we love the bingo with our grandkids. Daniel enhances that too because he’s a bit of a comedian. Love the place. If I had to make a trivial problem I’d say it would be improved by better WiFi

Poor games room, most machines are broken and don’t work. When we first came 5 years ago all worked and great to have on site. It’s now time to replace/update the games room.Daniels bingo is always fun, and we even won something this year.Great shower block

Great site, nice facilities, very close to Weymouth, on site events (food & music!!!) and of course there is super friendly and entertaining Daniel! We had a ball

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We didn't come across one member of the team that didn't want to help or know if you were having a good time. The youngsters who work there were very polite and helpful.The entertainment and food trucks were brilliant !!! It wasn't our first time and it definitely won't be our last. Great campsite! Well done Daniel we had a fantastic weekend.

A small well kept immaculate site. Excellent toilet & washing facilities. The staff go over & beyond to help guests enjoy their stay- the best on any site we have ever been. If people don’t have the loveliest of times at Higher Moor, it is their own fault.The level of Customer Service is wonderful.The shop is adorable - everything you need and thoughtfully provisioned. I love the fresh milk & baked goods option. The gift section is very tasteful.The Entertainment is wonderful- we loved the singer (Eddie) & of course Daniel’s Bingo! We had the best time both evenings.We had dinner at The Turks Head which was very good & Sunday lunch at The Wishing Well - absolutely fabulous! As was the 10 % discount if you mentioned Daniel’s name!We visited the View cafe at Portland with Bella the Robot serving us drinks - a quirky touch!

The campsite has excellent facilities and was lovely and clean. It is excellently located and the staff are very friendly.
