This campsite is always immaculate, it doesn't matter if you're staying in pods or camping everything is kept just so. Daniel and the team do an excellent job and make everyone feel welcome.

This site is great,in a guilt location and only 10 minutes car journey into Weymouth,All site faculties are immaculate from loos to grass cutting!Cabins and lodges are modern and everything works!Staff are welcoming and a joy to meet Daniel on our frequent revisits

We stayed in our motorhome in early April. The site is very clean, with grass areas well maintained. Excellent shower block. Bus stops are a walkable distance with frequent buses to Dorchester and Weymouth. Staff at reception are very helpful and friendly and the farm shop is well stocked. The pitches are a little cramped, so no way to ignore your neighbours! However, we’d be happy to come back here in the future.

On our annual visit, we were met with the usual warm and welcoming greeting. The campsite grows from strength to strength as we witness each year. The site and its facilities were top class as always. There is so much to see and do in the local area, that it is an ideal location for a lovely holiday

From the time you draw into the campsite the carefulness with which it is maintained is evident. The grounds, the washrooms and other facilities are immaculate. The welcome at the reception, and when using the shop, is warm and friendly. Time is given to ensuring that each persons needs are attended to.The Pod we used was well equipped, well cleaned and prepared for our arrival. On a cold and windy day its warmth was much appreciated!The place we found best to eat was The Elm Tree, where the menu is well varied, and the staff are very welcoming. Other eating places worth trying are the Fish Shack on the edge of the road to Portland, where specialised choice of fish is second to none ;Cove Inn at the end of Portland Chesil Beach, to learn what it really is like when the storms sweep over the Beach, and Portland Heights Hotel to enjoy the evening view over the sea and harbour if you go for an evening meal

We were very pleased with our lodge. Excellent facilities and very comfy. Excellent shower, the bed linen was clean and smelt wonderful and clean.We had a lovely time and would highly recommend anyone to stay here.3 very nice pubs close by with excellent food

We would definitely recommend highermoor farm to others.The facilities were second to none. Cleanliness excellent.Staff very friendly. Having a shop on site was very convenient We feel the location is quite remote so coffee shops, local attractions were not as we have been used to on our previous site but with Daniel and owners providing entertainment during weekends it added to the experience

We have camped here during the summer, many times, but this was our first stay in a pod.It certainly lived up to our expectations, clean and cosy. Daniel, the manager, was as lovely as always, indeed all the staff were friendly and helpful.We really wouldn't go anywhere else, as I'm sure Higher Moor just couldn't be beaten. We will be back, and would definitely recommend a pod for out of season trips.
