Great location for Aviemore and the Highland Wildlife Park, lovely big pitch, amenities blocks spotless and plenty room , lovely friendly staff and well maintained park
The site, toilets, location was good! The pizza restaurant at the bottom of the road was handy. Nice walks into the woods with the dogs. The only thing that would improve it is better communication between staff!!
As a long-standing customer who up until this year had a year let. We returned with motor home instead of caravan and I was still perfectly happy with all facilities. The main bug bare is other visitors who create great puddles from their showers and don’t mop up. Nothing much you can do about that. All staff were very pleasant and we will be backShiela Monro
The woman’s shower facility was problematic. The showers flooded whilst being used and hot water supply was intermittent, resulting in a cold shower! This could do with improvement's, I wouldn’t choose to use these facilities again.
Facilities too far away as was the water. Each pitch should have had two key cards.
We are regulars and will be back at Christmas. Would have given a five star rating if showers were hotter everything else perfect
Came to this site last Sunday for one night, just returned again today for two nights, The Staff are exceptional and so helpful. The site is spotless, all the spaces are superb we will return again .Thank you
We stayed for 2 nights on our first part of our holiday. We would have liked a more open pitch rather than under the tress as we are sun worshipers. And we're shaded most of the time. Aside from that we found everything spotlessly clean and tidy. A little issue with the access card was soon sorted and everything we needed was at hand. The staff we very helpful and welcoming. The bar restaurant at the entrance was fabulous and Aviemore had plenty to offer too. When we return we would like to explore more of the surrounding villages and stay a little longer.
We stayed for 1 night. Initial thoughts were it was great. Short walk into town. Free Wifi. Huge, nice clean facilities. Big level pitches in lovely surroundings (though no views) and the added bonus of a BBQ area. But once we settled in things became a little less appealing. Most of the site is occupied by seasonal pitches which is a bit of a put off for us. The shower, while clean and plenty of space were freezing cold. One minute you were in luke warm water the next freezing cold - not good. There is absolutely no TV signal despite being on the edge of a town, very little mobile data coverage and the free WiFi is appallingly bad. We received better service out in the wilds of the Highlands. Tried watching TV for the evening as it was raining but had to give up in the end. At £34 a night I'd expect to be able to have a warm shower and either decent TV or internet signal. I wished I'd knowm this before going so sharing. If they sorted those two issues it would be a great site
Stayed one night as passing through Scotland following NC500 trip. The site is well situated at the end of the Aviemore strip. Large amenities block but not positioned centrally to the site, so if you’re camped at far end it’s a couple of minute walk. The facilities are clean. 2 showers which were good. Hairdryer free but cold. Has token box but no signage to say it’s free. There is a cut through to walk into town which the receptionist failed to tell me when I asked quickest way. It’s not really quiet due to main road adjacent. In all, a flat, well kept and tidy site well positioned if you want a stay in Aviemore.
