We love this place! Always a big hit with my family. 4 adults and 12 children. Lots to do for all ages. Great having the electric with the tent.I would recommend a re vamp of the toilets, 2 soap Despensers is not enough for so many people using facilities. And through out my 3 night stay there was only ever one working. The toilets are also in desperate need of a small sink for children, taps are too high and too hard to use for children.

Everything was excellent bar the food/service in the lake House restaurant. That was an absolute disaster. Wrong food out twice, bar closed for an hour, couldn't get a drink, food mediocre at best. We will return next year but definitely not eat here again.Facilities were clean, staff friendly, activities great although on the slight expensive side. I was a bit disappointed there was so little included for free, but we still enjoyed ourselves and would return.

Spent a full week here, young family of 5. Was very impressed from the outset. Very clean and well staffed, all of whom were friendly. Great variety of activities of all ages. Prices for most activities were OK, thought both golf activities were on the high side. Food in lakehouse was good but a little more variety would be nice. Really enjoyed it overall and will definitely be back.

First off the car park is extremely tight and hard to get a spot, it is difficult to unpack the car as we could barely open the doors. While we did have a great weekend and camped directly beside the river and it was a lovely view it felt somewhat clostrophobic the first time we've been to a campsite where the pitches are so small the guy ropes are right up to the bushes so you have to step over them every time, felt more like at a festival than the peaceful feel we usually get while camping

When we arrived it was really busy, pitches are tight, we luckily got a pitch in the corner otherwise it would have been really difficult to manoeuvre the caravan into another pitch. Facilities are good. Lots to do for kids even though times of activities seemed limited, a lot of things closed early, maybe a staffing issue. Restaurant was very busy, seemed understaffed as many people waiting to pay for things, order and queuing for ice cream etc. Lighting is poor, especially outside the toilets at night, safety concern. Overall it was good, I would return at some point but plenty of areas to be improved first. One way system needs to be a little more obvious as plenty of kids on bikes and cars going different directions but overall it was safe and great for kids to play around the campsite.

Great inflatable aqua park. Showers have gotten worse each year we visit. Used to be excellent, but seem to be losing their quality.

Great for kids.but very expensive. To pay for kids showers every time they need them .kids get dirty easily. Its a bit much .no kitchen in the cabin with no cups to pour out ur tea not a bit of cutterly. I won't be returning as not paying the prices again

This was our third stay at hidden valley. We loved the aqua park. Our son is 12 and we do think the camp is more geared towards small kids but he enjoyed the river and camping. The games room used to have another air hockey table but it seems it was replaced with another teddy machine. A couple of pool tables in the bar area would be nice, especially if they were bookable. Last year there was definitely a quieter atmosphere. This year the ten o’clock quiet rule wasn’t enforced. The noise deposit also seems new. Overall we had a great time. Facilities are clean and the setting is lovely.

A lovely campsite dedicated for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. The location was beautiful, right beside the Avondale River which our 4 children spent every day at. The number of activities provided were excellent. My children's ages are 13, 11, 6 and 4 and there was an activity for everyone. They also put on a cinema inside each night (although we didn't go to it). The disco could be improved. I also think that campers could be offered a discount for activities. We spent €270 on activities to include 4 wristbands and we limited our kids to one activity per day to make it last. The Mining was a hit with all of my kids - they spent at least an hour at a time there. The outdoor golf was brilliant too. The kayaks were disappointing, they could have done with a clean down each night or upgraded. The waterpark was fantastic for each of my kids. The facilities could be improved, 7 showers in the main block.which isn't enough with a couple more at the Lakehouse which is far away.
