Hidden Valley

Doyle, Lisa - 23/09/2022

I found Hidden Vally to be fantastic for my family. I was extremely disappointed with the options for food and dining in the resort. The Lakehouse Restaurant's menu was extremely basic, all fried food and when we ordered chips for the children, they were reheated and dripping in grease. We stayed for 2 nights in the Boutique lodges and would have eaten each day in the restaurant if the food wasn't so bad. I would seriously recommend updating your menu and chef as it's extremely bad for your resort to not have a decent restaurant for your guests. Aside from that we found it very enjoyable, very clean and we had a great time.

Great spot - playground, kayaking in mini lake, water park in summer and nice restaurant and shop only up the road for essentials. Rathdrum is lovely Irish Town 😍.

Great facilities in a great location

Ferguson, Liam - 22/09/2022

Excellent facilities with full restaurant (which doubles as a cinema), its own lake with kayak and pedalo hire, multiple play areas. Just outside the lovely village of Rathdrum. Easy access to the Treetop Walk and Viewing Tower at Avondale House in Rathdrum and also very accessible to some of the many other attractions in Wicklow. Highly recommended.

Lovely family resort

We stayed in the boutique lodges which were lovely, very clean and cosy. The facilities are brilliant especially for kids, there is so much to do. There are some suggestions I think would really help families staying at the lodges or cabins. It would be very helpful to have more detail on the website regarding the accommodation, simply things like letting customers know what to bring, like toilet roll, hand soap etc, the basics that are needed in the lodges. Also it would be helpful to have the menu of the restaurant on the website for customers to see when booking

Boys loved water balls, unfortunately didn't get to to splash world. Really liked so have booked for Santa experience in December. Cleaning staff are super , keep the place really clean and work hard all day.

September weekend

Good campsite, well run and quiet at night. Good onsite activities and great food available at the Lake house. No ice pack freezer which would be a problem for longer stays if you don't use an electric pitch.

One of my favourite places in Ireland

Everytime we visit hidden valley it gets better and better. They are adding more things all the time and it’s great. We used to be residents for 6 months of the year here years ago, they no longer do this but we now book into there gorgeous log cabins when we are staying now. So comfortable and great that they have heaters inside so handy that they have fridges too for storing milk for baby’s, we brought our own travel cot which fitted perfectly inside. Our kids were so happy to see that they have added a games room. Our kids loved going to the disco aswell. They are also adding something new at the moment and the excitement of everyone guessing what it was going to be. The only thing a think could make a small improvement is the menu more rashers and sausage options would be great at breakfast, food tastes amazing don’t get me wrong, it’s just I like to have a fry up. So handy having a restaurant and not cooking if u don’t feel like it. We done splash valley again and it was the best!

Summer Delight

Diaz, Rodella - 18/09/2022

Almost my children’s summer we’re spent in Hidden Valley it’s been always the highlight of their summer while growing up. From pitching our own tent to now experiencing glamping at its finest. Our first time booking in one of the Boutique Lodge in the camp. Arriving and checking in at the reception this year was a breeze but it could get busy sometimes specially since the staff at the till are also the ones who acts as cashiers since the reception is also a store. Place is easy enough to find and marked in google map well marked signs are big enough to be noticed by the road. Our accommodation is just like home away from home. The place was clean when I received it I find the mattress too soft (a challenge for people with back problem) The kids enjoyed spending time swimming in the river and lake area. Staff are very helpful and friendly. There’s a restaurant inside hidden valley that serves good really good food reasonably priced that comes with a friendly service too. The main t
