The site is beautiful. As soon as I pulled in I knew I was in for a lovely stay. Facilities were beautiful, spacious and incredibly clean. The cleanest I think I have ever seen. Cafe area / shop was well stocked and the lady I met there was lovely, really informative and friendly. The sites themselves were generous in size, immaculate and well tended. I look forward to my next visit.

We like to use this campsite in October. Although the shop and cafe are not always open at this time of year it is a good place to stay. The only downside is the showers only run for 3 seconds at a time, not enough to rinse your hair. Everything else is well run clean and tidy with friendly staff

A fantastic park with amazing walks for dogs. Extremely dog friendly. The cafe was fabulous & gave me 2 nights of no cooking; with super fish and chips on Friday evening & a brilliant pizza on Saturday evening. The showers & loos are very well maintained & very clean. We are definitely coming back.

The Plusses:The site is lovely , staff were warm and welcoming , nice cafe, the pitches are large and flat and spacious , the washing up and laundry facilities are fine although I think the pipework may have been a little blocked when we were there as the sinks took a long time to drain away .warm spacious shower roomThe MinusesGetting online and internet availability was an issue , we have a mobile router which has always worked everywhere for us but we couldn’t get a signal here. The site wasn’t full so only 3 showering rooms were open which in itself wasn’t an issue as they were warm and spacious the key thing that let it down was the inability to shower as the button literally only gave you 4 seconds of water when you pressed it so in order to have any kind of shower or wash your hair you could only do it one handed. Whilst I fully understand the need to manage water consumption 4seconds makes it impossible to have a decent shower and would make me think twice before bookin

It was a lovely site, very quiet. Just what we wanted. Only one gripe....please make the showers run for longer. :)

We've been here a few times and love it. Staff are lovely and friendly. Toilet blocks are superb, lovely and clean. The only fault I would say about them are the push button showers. They only stay on for a few seconds, so when rinsing your hair, by the time you've got your hand up to your head, it goes off again. Maybe they could be set to stay on for a little longer.Pitches are big, which is great. We had a bit of trouble with the electric, as it kept tripping this time. When we boiled the kettle, but just had to turn something else off, while we used it. But it's never happened anywhere else or before when we've stayed here.Dog friendly too. We have enjoyed every stay here and will be coming back.

Despite storm Amy hitting on Friday night, we managed to have a great weekend, catching up with family. Beccles was a delight even though there was only a few stalls braving the weather on Friday! Even braved going to Southwold on Saturday to get blown along the prom!!!The facilities were a delight, clean and bright. Although we were out of season, the cafe was open for evening meals and Sunday breakfast the weekend we went. Well worth the money.

Haw Wood Farm is an attractive site in a quiet location with mainly grass pitches but we stayed on a fully serviced hard standing pitch. There’s a very good children’s play area and a well stocked shop and café. Staff are friendly and helpful.At the end of September, the shop and café had limited opening hours, 9-11 in the mornings and Friday and Saturday evenings. On a few occasions the shop and café didn’t open at all or only served hot drinks, so if you are looking forward to a cooked breakfast, this may not be available at quiet times. There were 3 showers in each block, plus 4 wet rooms mainly aimed at families, although anyone could use them. We found the showers problematic; they are the push button type which only stay on for 5 seconds, which made it difficult to have a decent shower and washing hair was a challenge. There is no dedicated pot wash area, it’s combined with the laundry room. We’d prefer separate sinks for laundry and dishes. A lovely site overall however.

Very friendly staff. Amazing facilities

Site is well run, clean and with generous pitch sizes. Located close to the coast and some lovely scenery. The only very minor point is the frustrating taps and showers in the immaculate toilet block. As they are on a timed press, release and turn off to minimise water loss and taps being left on. I just wish the delay between pressing the tap/ shower should be lengthened. In the shower it gives you about 15 secs and the taps almost immediate time which is not enough. In the end you have to be constantly pressing the shower but to ensure you can get washed etc. just a minor quibble in an otherwise great site.
