Haw Wood is a lovely camp site, great for families, the kids loved it! Facilities really good

We booked our bank holiday trip a week before after searching high and low for a last minute pitch. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our corner pitch. Which was huge! All the facilities were great; the shop is reasonably priced for items you may have forgotten or misplaced! In our case, the tent pegs. Snacks and drinks were at a good price too. We enjoyed a drink whilst the children enjoyed the park.The toilets and shower were always so clean and tidy! Which was such a great change from other places we’ve been. On occasions, later on in the evening, there sometimes was a lack of hot water for a shower. We enjoyed using our bikes around the site, and visiting the magpies bakery everyday. We enjoyed our stay here. As we didn’t know the area well, we did use the car a lot to explore.We drove to Felixstowe and South Wold both very nice places offering a different seaside experience.

This is a great site for exploring the Suffolk coast line. The site is clean, spacious and facilities are excellent. You have the shop, dog walking field, the bakery down the road and the play park is winner. Having been two years in a row, it’s highly likely we come back for a third!

Fantastic weekend

With friends, we recently enjoyed a first visit to Haw Wood. The website and reviews did not oversell the site, which we found to be excellent.Pitch sizes are very generous. We appreciated the quality of the site facilities, with the toilets and showers cleaned regularly, a decent shop and a great café, which also provided a different form of food offering each evening of our stay.Little touches like draining racks in the dish-washing area were great. Even the piped music was quality, with the tempo/style changing in the evening time.The site offers short walk options around the adjacent fields and the ability to star gaze at night due to low levels of light pollution.The location meant we also enjoyed visits to Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich, although there were lots more places we could have chosen to visit.We will go back to Haw Wood again for a future stay.

Returning campers staying in one of the meadows. Considered an unserviced pitch but a short distance to the water taps. The meadow gave good protection from the elements on what was a rainy BH weekend. I enjoyed all three theme nights (fish and chips , pizza and Gyros). Facilities well looked after and public spaces regularly cleaned. Friendly staff who are happy to help. My dog loved his trips to the enclosed dog park.

This site continues to be clean, tidy and with everything working. We love the butterfly field and playground. Shop is great and toilets are clean. Lovely big pitches.Our stay was very wet and I wish they would have lifted the ban on fires as it was a bit depressing having the ban on in the rain.I wouldn't go again if fire pits are banned. Recommend lowerstoft and snape maltings for a day out.

This is a great site. Great little shop/cafe. Child playground well used. Bathroom facilities great - clean and plentiful warm water. Really appreciated the dog field for a run around away from all the activity. Clear skies at night

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Had fish and chips from the cafe on Friday night. It was ok, seemed frozen but edible for a campsite great. They had different meals on different nights. Saturday was pizza, they look lovely. Breakfast is served and the coffee is a good one. The site was clean, showers and toilets included in this. A lovely touch was a herb garden that you can help yourself tooThe staff were friendly The shop was so well stocked. Dogs are allowed on site but brilliant that they had dog free paddocks. If you have children there is a play parkI would recommend this site

We had another great stay at Haw Wood Farm.It is at a great location near to the Suffolk coast.The members of the team are very friendly, very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble.The shower/toilet facilities are amazing.There is a good range of items in their shop at very reasonable prices.Great food & a wide selection of hot & cold drinks.Our grandchildren had a great time in the play area, as always.Our furry friend loved the enclosed dog field.A big thank you to the Manager’s Georgina & Dan for your hospitality & your professionalism.
