Great value for money, excellent facilities and lovely views of lakes. Large park so plenty of space between caravans for privacy , good entertainment on the weekends on site. Bar open pub hours for a drink and a socialise, Good food, great breakfast! And sunday lunch, just pre book to make sure you get a table.

As it was the weekend we were limited as to where we could fish most of the fishery was taken by matches

We only stayed one night so didn't have the full experience. We did feel that the toilet and shower facilities were excellent and when we arrived were spotless, thought not so by the time we left. We also felt the price we paid was fair. A couple of negatives....I understand the need for traffic calming but the speed humps are excessive in height and quantity. In 2024 level hardstands are not too much to ask particularly in wet weather ..... having said all that we'd definitely return again. Thank you!! Oh and the lady in reception so nice and very helpful.

4 days staying in your rental static. Very comfortable, clean ok location with lake view. The fishing was so good we never went off site! Cafe and bar convenient and good, fishing tackle shop well stocked.The owners and staff were friendly and extremely helpful couldn't do enough for us.Thank you.As far as value for money, the static rental is priced ok at the moment but a close eye needs to be kept on some minor faults so it doesn't become 'tatty' with constant use!! Maybe further rental could be considered?We were impressed and wish we were in a position to purchase a static on site.Cath and Jim elderly holiday makers!

Great weekend lovely place peaceful but Saturday night entertainment music to loud only negative experience

Went for one night to stay with our Daughter & Son-in-Law to see their new (to them) American RV. Thanks to Andy we were able to stay alongside them.The site appeared to be well run and if you are a fisherperson this is the site for you!Only one night, so hard to judge everything, but everything we saw, we liked.

The entry to Hallcroft past the recycling yard was not very welcoming, but as soon as we got past the main gates we were pleasantly surprised. This site is quite vast and and had plenty if ponds for every type of couse fishing.The pitch provider for our campervan was fully serviced and had a great view over one of the larger ponds/lake.The toilets and shower facilities seemed to be relatively new and were nice and clean.There was a well stocked tackle shop and licensed cafe. The prices seemed very reasonable and catered for most campers needs.The Staff seemed very friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be back next year while visiting friends.
