Amazing amazing and amazing. Loved it . This was my first time camping and you made it so easy to book and find . Loved it ! Will definitely be booking again .
We were very lucky since we were nearly the only ones there for a day, so it was amazing to have such a big campsite to ourselves 😉 it is kept clean and tidy right to the end of the period it is open ☺️ we loved the fact that there are benches that campers can use.If we have to find something not good about the site then it would be the very high pressure of water at the small sinks and in the ladies the showers have a shelf but everything gets wet anyway. The location of the glass and tins bin is at the entrance of the campsite.Still, a very good campsite ☺️👍👍👍👍
It is great and I was satisfied with everything, the only suggestion is to put some tree. I went in September and I didn't need shade but in summer it would have been different. I read before about the water pressure but I think that immediately you understand how to use it in the best way you are glad that the water pressure is strong
With Mowed short grass, kids play area and a clean central toilet& shower block - the site reminded me of a well kept “rec” you’d find in a town; but look up and there the similarity ends because the commanding views of coastal gower and exmoor were jaw-dropping!I came here to re live childhood memories eons ago on group church camping trips.. I could relive old times quite well as a ban on music& noise after 10pm made for relaxing evenings - although the distant thump of house music drifted over slightly from the caravan park next door on both weekend nights I was there.Plenty room in early September as you’d expect and entrance to the site means negotiating a security barrier each time if you’re in vehicle. It’s a bit of an uphill walk otherwise. No cafe or shop on site which is why I shave a star off this review. You really have to bring all provisions as the nearest shop is down in Oxwich village.
We paid £80 up front in good faith but we’re unwell due to covid, a Refund was refused but we were offered to transfer booking but not too next year but this season only, we rebooked for September but one of us was Ill. I emailed several times and was refused a credit transfer or rebooking for next season. I was then refused a partial refund so asked for a discount on a rebooking for next season but didn’t even get a reply and my emails are ignored. It doesn’t make business sense to me, we paid up front in good faith but due to circumstances Beyond our control we’re not realised. We’d like to be customers of greenway as we have heard good things and camp often, we’d like to spend time and money in the area but seems greenway do not want us to be customers now or in the future and have just taken our money and are ignoring my emails. We’re not able to share anything positive to anyone about greenway but would love to visit if credit offered as good will good business sense gesture.
We have stayed once before and had a lovely stay but bank holiday brought lots of large groups playing loud music all day and night long! After the music stopped the load and rowdy people still kept its away. It really wasn’t our cup of tea and so would only consider it as a last resort now unfortunately.
re introduction of a club house and some indoor activities for children would be apt
tiolet and shower block was immaculate . cleaned to a high standard. laundry facility was very good. Size and position of campsite was excellent noise level at night wasnt adhered to and a shop on sight would have been very helpful
Great campsite, flat pitches, well maintained and very clean.Location is walking distance to the beach and pub.Only downside is there is no site shop
