Lovely site and facilities Lovely cafe on site and in a beautiful location
Enjoyed our stay, site very good amenities spotless, site and the plots ample size a good family site. My only issue was the lack of water filling stations and places to dispose of waste water. Also the lack of shaver points in the men's toilet some would have good. Minor issues as we had a very enjoyable stay.
Lovely site with nice cafe also on site, access to the forest close by for cycling and walking, small co-op down the road for essentialsPitches were quite small and we had tents and awnings pitched right up to the edge of our pitch both sides so felt a little enclosed stepping out onto next doors awningThe Men’s toilet/shower block was attached to the cafe which is open to the public so my husband felt a little awkward weaving in and out of people whilst they were eating breakfast in the morningsOther than that all good and would revisit with perhaps a hard standing pitch instead of grass
Very well run friendly site. The facilities were clean and well kept. Having camping around the edge of the field left plenty of space for games in the middle for the kids. The cafe served excellent meals and breakfasts. Would definitely come again
We had a lovely experience at Greenway Farm. Stayed in a log cabin with hot tub and the whole cabin and site was immaculately clean. We received exceptional service and welcome from Dave Morgan and would definitely recommend if anyone is looking for a peaceful break close to the Forest of Dean.We took a small dog with us and the site was perfect as the lodge had a private garden and was close to woodland for daily walks.
We stayed in Brenda cabin. It was a gorgeous cabin with everything you could need - to, double bed, kitchen with hob, microwave and fridge and a shower room. Our friends stayed in tents on one of the pitches and we were lucky to have a weekend with lovely weather. The cabin also has a decked area with a BBQ, wood burner, table and chairs and lots of lights which look lovely at night. We’d stay here again. It’s a lovely site which is close to Beechenhurst for nice walks, etc, and Puzzlewood.
Lovely clean campsite, Pitches were well looked after. toilet and shower facilities were great and very clean. Cafe was good. Location was fantastic, park and forest walks a few minutes walk away and local town within 10mins walking distance. We will be returning next year
Lovely medium sized campsite with an excellent shower block and really lovely cafe with excellent food and a wide menu. The only issue we had was the road noise in the morning as we were positioned at the road end of one of the fields. But that is not the fault of the campsite owners, everything else about the place was great and it was very close to Symons Yat, we did an excellent canoeing trip. A very good place for a family as all the activities are closely located and its a very local site.
Very happy to have stayed at greenaway, just wish the WiFi was better apart from that everything was fine
