Was a last minute booking initially for a Sunday night but had to change to the Monday night which after a phone call was easily accommodated, the campsite had all the facilities required to make our stay very comfortable and would have been even better had we stayed for a longer length of time, would definitely return. Our first visit a couple of years ago was in our camper, we have since relocated to NZ with our camper, so this visit we stayed in the new Shepherds Hut. It was perfect, quiet and well equipped, staff are lovely and walks from the site are perfect for people with pets, it’s just a 10-15min walk into Coleford which is a lovely little town.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Green Acres and the site is of a very high standard run by helpful professional staff.

We stayed for two nights in a VW camper on grass standing. Really enjoyed the hedged layout and lovely landscaping around us. The amenity block was perfect - very well appointed - clean and spacious.So much more than a reception... we had the friendliest welcome, excellent coffee and only wish we'd know about the bacon sandwich/food options before catering for breakfasts.We used Greenacres as a base for some gravel riding - centrally placed between FOD and Symonds Yat.

Such a lovely well maintained site, great facilities, big pitches. Very accommodating in helping place our group of friends together. Great walking nearby for the dogs. Wonderful relaxing stay.

Good in parts! Gents showers, lights on a timer, don’t give you enough time for a shower or a poo and no amount of arm waving makes them come on! I had to complete my poo in the dark, then with a face full of soap the lights went out again. I had to open the shower cubicle door covered in soap and step out to trigger the lights again. Grr, they are LED bulbs that use almost no power and cost pennies to run. Doesn’t seem to be an issue in the ladies, just the gents. And the push buttons on the showers…. I tried all 3 showers over the weekend, the longest I got between pushes was 12 seconds. Otherwise, a lovely site.

Site was spacious and very well kept, very good shower block and really friendly staff. We liked the metered electric which IMO all sites need to upgrade to! Thank you all at Greenacres we will be back.😁

Lovely campsite, quiet, lots of shade, flat pitches, good facilities. Would highly recommend

A good place to sit out the heatwave. I appreciated the easy and pleasant walk to Coleford.
