Our lakeside tent field is picturesque but basic. There is no electricity available and a 5 minute walk to the amenities.

Good set up very clean. Love the lake and church. And nice to hear an owl next to us all night. Very relaxing 👍
Lovely well maintained grounds and area to stroll around. Facilities are all there and working well.
I stayed at the site as I grew up in the village and the lake was a big part of my childhood.First return for many years.Lake is still beautiful. The facilities are pretty tired and basic. As I stayed on a Monday, reception and the cafe were closed.I couldn't get phone reception so had to pay for wifi at £4.50 for the day.So one night with elec and wifi made it nearly £40. So I think its very overpriced.
Spent a lovely 3 nights at Gosfield, the lake is beautiful and watching the water skiing was fun. The food outlets were friendly and food was good. The only thing we found that let the site down was the showers and washing facilities. There were no plugs in the sinks so washing up was difficult and the water in the showers escaped so there was nowhere dry to dress. Would definitely return.
Has all the ammonites very quiet at night community shop close by and plenty of walks.
The sinks should have a leaver so people could wash there plates etc betterThe women's showers should also have a leaver or a round top outlet as I found when I was trying to wash myself and my hair it would only last a few minutes and would leave me with shampoo/conditioner in my hair or soap on my body. I know you can press again but it does get annoying when you have to keep pressing the button when trying to shower.Lovely people and lovely surroundings! The snack shack people were absolutely lovely! Great to talk to and absolutely lovely food! I would definitely come here again with my husband!
Stayed at Gosfield 2 weeks on the bounce and had an amazing time. Staff are friendly and setting is beautiful. One well worth a visit
Lovely surroundings, secluded pitch and great kids play area. Very quiet. The added bonus of watching the local waterski club practice. Enjoyed an early morning coffee on the snack shack pontoon watching the wild swimmers. We will definitely return. The only suggestion we have is the toilet blocks are so far away from the tent pitches, is there a way to use temporary toilets or look to build something in the future that accommodates the tent campers as it’s a long way to walk with little children. But this didn’t detract from our experience
Went with my son for one night, great site and very family friendly. Lady at reception was really nice and the facilities were well kept and clean.
Very friendly, Camping was very clean, spaces between pitches was good. Water is some distance from tents. Noise from gosfield hall nosier than expected at night. Restaurant the apple tree was excellent, staff amazing. Would recommend
