Great place to stay, near to the local pub, park and handy shop. Excellent onsite facilities and friendly owner at reception. The one quibble I would have and be aware of - on the Saturday evening (30th May), loud music was played until 1:30am. This appeared to be coming from the static caravans right next to the electric hookup campsite, where we were staying, and needless to say severely impacted sleep. I don’t know if those caravans are subject to the “no late noise rules”, but tents aren’t soundproof so be aware that it could happen with seemingly not much you can do.

A lovely welcome, clean and tranquil site with playground for the children and the village playground a short walk away.We didn't explore the local area much as the site was nice enough and some of our party went open water swimming in the lake.Showers and loos were great, staff were helpful.The only downside was some loud static caravan guests on the Saturday night, which was a shame.

Very enjoyable 1 night stay during UK May heatwave.Phoned to book as we were a group of motorcyclists, couldn’t have been more helpful and booking done. On arrival again very friendly service with clear instructions & packs.Onsite snack shack was open & served up good food. The site is small but it’s kept very well. Shower/toilet block is likewise small (men’s had 2 showers, 2 toilets & 1urinal) but clean, well maintained & plenty of hot water.The lake is busy with the on site water ski club & open water swim but you can’t have a dip unless you take part in the set swim sessions. The only down side was the walk from the pitches to the toilet block. Lots of families using the site & day trippers to the park/playground area so it’s seems very popular and from our perspective easy to see why.

We recently stayed at the campsite for the fourth time, and once again we had a wonderful experience. It has become one of our favourite places to visit as a family. The site is always clean, welcoming, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time together.The children had a fantastic time at the playground, while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Every visit creates special family memories, which is why we keep coming back. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

What a fabulous and friendly place to be.The facilities were spotlessly clean and on hand.The atmosphere at The Snack Shack was super friendly a great choice of food at very good prices.I will definitely be coming back soon!Keep up the excellent work.

We stayed at Gosfield Resort for one night as a group myself, my wife, our young child, and friends in another tent and overall it was a very positive experience.The site itself is well maintained, clean, and clearly organised. Pitching space was generous, and there was no sense of being crowded, even with multiple tents around. Parking was straightforward and close enough to the pitches, which made unloading gear easy. The general setup feels modern and well managed.Facilities were in good condition and kept clean throughout our stay. You can tell there is regular upkeep, and it gives the site a more premium feel compared with some more basic campsites.Weather helped, but the layout of the site also made it easy to enjoy being outdoors. It felt safe and comfortable for a young child, with enough open space to move around without being on top of other campers.

Top notch place to stay before Turps Trophy. Nice campsite with clean showers & loos etc. Nice little dockside cafe. Friendly staff and family there. I'll be back.

A nice little site. We were going to a wedding at Gosfield Hall so a perfect location for us. Facilities a bit on the basic side but all worked perfectly well. Breakfast at the snack shack was great!
