Our lakeside tent field is picturesque but basic. There is no electricity available and a 5 minute walk to the amenities.

Visiting friends in Gosfield and were on our way to Norfolk so only stayed for one night this time. Very peaceful as we were the only people on site at the time! Lake location is very scenic. Facilities OK and clean. Overall, very satisfied.
This was our second time staying here as we were attending a wedding at the golf course a 15 minute walk away. All the facilities were open this time and they were basic but clean and serviceable. This site is in a very good location for visiting the area and we will probably stay again in the future.
Stayed for only 1 night last weekend with my young family and brothers family, we’ve been a few times but several years ago. On arrival the receptionist told us the main play area was closed off, not ideal with 3 young children and could have been stated before booking. As this is probably the main attraction for the kids, we felt like we maybe should have been offered something to compensate, instead the receptionist just went on to request an extra £4 for the other car we bought along, not very necessary. The main road/track through the campsite needs resurfacing desperately, theres way too many potholes/lumps and bumps, resulting in scraping the bottom of cars, we witnessed nearly every car do this! I believe it’s only a small run site but the few staff we interacted with made it seem like we were just a nuisance being there. Toilets/showers are fine/standard but just felt like we paid a lot for what it was. Shame as it’s a lovely setting!
Lovely view of the river.plot plenty big enough.showers hot and cleanToilets cleangrounds well looked afterDidnt try the restaurant on site but spoke to some who did and they said it was great. good prices.no negatives.easy to find. Great location.Plenty to do and see in surrounding area, or just relac by the river.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Interesting to watch the water skiing on the lake.Good snacks at the Shack.Nice village and surrounding area for walks.
Nice place to stay, site was clean and tidy, Snack Shack is a lovely place to hang out with good food at reasonable prices and Matt who runs it is very helpful. The only flaw in the site I noticed is that the whole place is serviced by 2 toilets and 2 showers each gender, I think another block would much improve this
Very clean, tidy and well maintained, throughly enjoyed my 1 stay and have already booked to come back, nice relaxing weekend with lovely views to look at.
Absolutely beautiful surroundings and very clean and tidy. Super friendly staffIf I had 1 small complaint it would of been no internet signal WiFi or 4g. Other than that perfect
Second visit to this gem of a camp site. Check in was very efficient and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job with the shower and toilet facilities. The food shack on site was brilliant and very accommodating. We had a large group and the service was fantastic. A credit to the site. Will definitely return and recommend this site.
