Quiet welcoming site

Wales, Wendy - 17/07/2024

5

Lovely quiet site. Particularly liked the warm welcome from owner Annie who could not do more to make sure I was all set up and recommended local walks. The facilities are superb - clean and fresh toilets, showers, laundry and camp kitchen. Lots of indoor/outdoor seating options for campers. Each pitch is attractively laid out in its own little area giving good privacy from other campers. I would recommend exploring nearby Clachan of Glendaruel - the church, chambered cairn and historic well. The walk there from the site on very quiet back roads was a highlight for me. The site is also handy for Benmore Gardens, and a discount is available if you stay there. A wee gem of a site - I’ll be back.

The pitch size for our motorhome was large, tidy, and flat. The grounds are well maintained with amazing mature trees and shrubs. The toilet facilities were well maintained but limited in number if the site was busy.Nice touches in the kitchen facility with many added extras for guests. All in a lovely peaceful site situated in glorious countryside.
