Peaceful

McGuire, Barry - 02/08/2026

Spoke on the phone with Annie who was very helpful as we had a tent that was slightly bigger than what they normally allow. Arrived and met Annie, again very obliging and helpful and would see her walking around checking in with everyone to make sure all was ok. Lovely peaceful site, not what my 2 youngsters are used to but really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to visit my older daughter working in Portavadie. Would definitely use it again if around that area. Thanks Annie

A hidden gem 🤩🤩

Dawson, Kay - 01/08/2026

Everything about this campsite was above expectation. The location, facilities, and customer service were spot on. Quiet, friendly, clean, value for money and above all the perfect place for 5 days of rest and recuperation. And then there was Annie, who was the most amazing host! Nothing was any trouble and she made the holiday for us. We will definitely be going back, but next time for a week in one of the static caravans 😊

Shame about the weather

Weir, Barbara - 01/08/2026

5

We booked Glendaruel on the recommendation of a friend and it didn’t disappoint. The location is stunning with amazing views everywhere you look and the park is immaculate with excellent facilities. The owner Annie was very friendly and welcoming and toldus lots about the area. Unfortunately on day one the rain came and didn’t stop and the forecast for the rest of the week was very poor. We decided to move on and Annie was very understanding and did not expect payment for another night even though we left at 3pm. We’ll try again and will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful area.

Nice Quiet Campsite with Great Facilities

Gibbons, Colette - 23/07/2026

The campsite was nice and peaceful - perfect for a weekend stay. It had great facilities - an indoor kitchen equipped with toaster, kettle, small fridge, pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils etc. There is a sink for doing dishes and also a laundry area. The toilets and shower area were really clean and always stocked with toilet paper & soap. There are lovely walks nearby. We had a great stay & will definitely return in the future!

Beautiful surroundings and helpful staff

Willis, Malcolm & Kath - 17/07/2026

On the whole we were really pleased, the beautiful surroundings and staff were so helpful. I got something in my eye and Annie came straight away with some eyewash which fortunately "did the trick" and a visit to A&E was no longer necessary. The site is spacious and surrounded by trees, hills and countryside where there are some great walks. Facilities are good but could do with some updating in showers. My husband commented there was no emergency pull cord in the disabled showerBut the staff were so helpful and lovely and we are looking forward to our next stay. DUNOON is only a 25 min drive away .
