A friendly welcome, good facilities. Very quiet and peaceful location.
Fantastic campsite in a lovely secluded glen. Spotless clean toilets and great facilities for all. Pitches have plenty space and all are well cared for and have lovely views. Abby who runs the site was lovely to deal with and booking was all made very easy. Lovely walks, cycling etc - so good we stayed an extra night!
Location is good for visiting various locations in Cowal peninsula. Used the park as a base for cycling around the area. Fantastic cycling area. Site was very clean and the Annie the owner very helpful.
Very peaceful and pleasant stay. Annie was very welcoming and keeps the place very well maintained. We enjoyed being surrounded by nature and listening to birdsong. Interesting places to visit within a short distance.
Thank you for your lovely review. I hope we see you back here enjoying the Glen again soon.
A beautiful setting with helpful and friendly manager. Hope to visit in the future.A ramp alongside the steps joining the pitches to the facilities area would be helpful to the aged and less able clients. Even so, we would we enjoyed our stay.Best wishes, George & Carole
Thank you for taking the time to submit your helpful review and giving us something to consider. The pitches closest to the Touring entrance are better suited for a level walk to the facilities without taking the steps. 90-100m
Glendaruel Caravan Park is a true gem. Because it is divided into rooms (charmingly referred to a "lawns") by the trees remaining from the expansive gardens from which it is formed, it feels even smaller and more intimate than it actually is. The touring lawn is a particular joy -- around 20 pitches well spaced and most with a lovely view of the park or its surrounding countryside. The other part of the appeal of this site is the kind and friendly staff -- mostly in the form of the site owner, Annie, who runs the place with a light but deft touch and is always ready with a welcoming smile. Can't recommend the place highly enough. We shall certainly be back next season.
Had a wonderful stay. My 3rd time in the bothies. Site was quiet and peaceful. Facilities are excellent.
As a returning customer of over 6years I can't recommend the site enough. The caravan we stayed in was immaculate beautifully presented and very comfortable. The grounds were their usual well tended and picturesque self. If you are after a holiday that offers peace and quiet where all you hear is the waterfall and birds this is the place for you. Its also ideal for families, lots of space for kids to run around and have fun. Everyone is friendly and welcoming especially Annie who owns and runs the site. Definitely 5☆ from us.
Glendaurel was excellent on the first frosty morning of the autumn. Annie came to see us at nighttime and was an excellent host. Facilities superb. An enjoyable stay in Argyll
A great site, peaceful, clean and tidy, it feels like a place to rest and enjoyFriendly and helpful owners who make sure everything is how you would want it.Highly recommend this site
