Nice setting

Szabo, Eileen - 07/07/2025

Nice little park in a lovely setting. However the WiFi was very poor and toilet/hand basin areas did not appear to have been cleaned in the four days we were there. Debris etc just built up over the four days. Gents area especially, was unpleasant. A real shame as a nice place on the whole.

We came across Glendaruel campsite by accident and we are really glad we did. It’s friends, clean and in an amazing location, surrounded by hills. The site owner was so friendly and helped us with locations for day trips. The site is very clean, toilets and showers great and there’s even a covered eating area. Washing area also had a microwave, toaster and kettle if your camping . Don’t forget to explore the waterfalls behind the site too. Will be returning and highly recommended

Happy camper

Hatfield, Emma - 29/06/2025

All the facilities were beautifully clean. I really appreciated the dish sponge in the indoor kitchen area given that I had forgotten to bring one with me! I stayed in my campervan just for one night but took advantage of a really lovely walk through the campsite to a footpath to the village and back. The wooded grounds around the campsite are very pretty and add to the getting away from the city experience. Great value for money.

The extra mile

Annie couldn’t have been more helpful. The fridge in our van had stopped working and she let us use one in one of the empty bothers. She was also going to lend us tools when we had a problem with the van though we didn’t need them. Beautiful peaceful site, well equipped kitchen good size pitches and local walks signposted. A lovely spot to relax

A beautiful location, peaceful and beautiful to wake up to each morning!

Harkins, Amber - 24/06/2025

The park is so well kept, beautiful landscaping, and surrounded by beautiful trees, fields of sheep, rabbits, and stunning hills covered with mist in the mornings. It was so lovely to see these views from the caravan each morning. The site was very peaceful. The owner was so helpful. She went out of her way to help me with the booking online from the USA. Onsite she was available to help with any questions as far as amenities or local places to visit. She gave us a discount voucher to an incredible Botanical Garden - Benmore. She was also available by phone if needed. She was so friendly! The caravan was very clean and spacious, and came with all the necessary cooking utensils, bedding, cleaning equipment…etc. What a great experience. We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely campsite

Clarke, Michael - 17/06/2025

I found the campsite on my way around the wild about Argyll trail bikepacking route. I was in need of a shower and chill, this site is lovely to stay at. It’s a sensible price also for a flat grassy pitch that was quiet at night, unlike the one at Lochgilphead. The facilities where outstanding clean and there is a room you can sit out of the midges which when camping is a must Iv realised. So well done for this. I will recommend this site to any of my pals that decide to ride this trail for sure.
