A Gem

Gurney, Bill - 31/10/2024

Glendaruel Caravan Park is a true gem. Because it is divided into rooms (charmingly referred to a "lawns") by the trees remaining from the expansive gardens from which it is formed, it feels even smaller and more intimate than it actually is. The touring lawn is a particular joy -- around 20 pitches well spaced and most with a lovely view of the park or its surrounding countryside. The other part of the appeal of this site is the kind and friendly staff -- mostly in the form of the site owner, Annie, who runs the place with a light but deft touch and is always ready with a welcoming smile. Can't recommend the place highly enough. We shall certainly be back next season.

Spectacular beauty, beautifully landscaped very clean and well presented.

Matthews, Julie - 18/10/2024

As a returning customer of over 6years I can't recommend the site enough. The caravan we stayed in was immaculate beautifully presented and very comfortable. The grounds were their usual well tended and picturesque self. If you are after a holiday that offers peace and quiet where all you hear is the waterfall and birds this is the place for you. Its also ideal for families, lots of space for kids to run around and have fun. Everyone is friendly and welcoming especially Annie who owns and runs the site. Definitely 5☆ from us.

Peaceful Stay

Allen, Dawn - 21/09/2024

Beautiful peaceful site with touring pitches well laid out. Excellent communication with site staff about booking in and facilities ahead of stay. Good facilities, although some were locked and therefore only 1 shower available. Fortunately not too busy. Good walks from the site.

Peaceful Location

Hall, Julie - 20/09/2024

We were delighted to stay in the campsite last weekend. It was a last minute booking and you were very welcoming. The site is surrounded by trees and was very peaceful and quiet at night. I took a walk on some of the trials and will definitely come back to explore more. A great find and we will definitely be back as it is very convenient a short drive from the Gourock Dunoon Ferry. I enjoyed looking at the old church and medieval grave stones at Clachan Glendaruel just along the road.

Secret delight

Welsh, Andy - 18/09/2024

5

Lovely site in a stunning valley location. We were just here overnight and didn’t see the owners but communication re pitch and amenities was excellent. There are quite clearly several walks available straight from the site and the local area was breathtakingly beautiful. Only wish we had had more time. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.
