We have a separate grassy area for camping. Cars can be parked next to tents when conditions are fair. If there has been very wet conditions we do ask campers to park in the adjacent carpark. There are a number of benches in the field. We limit the number of tents giving everyone plenty of room. This is a great area to observe the dark skies. It is a short walk to the new facilities.

Back after a long time

Wood, Mike - 10/06/2024

5

Absolutely wonderful stay - a warm and friendly welcome from Annie to get our break under way. It's been a few years since we were last here and there have been a number of great improvements to the site, pitches and amenities. The site is in a beautiful part of the world- and during the Rhododendron season in late May - early June - the colours everywhere are stunning. A great base to explore the Cowal peninsula and beyond and definitely on the list for a return again soon

Lovely small site

Cowie - 08/06/2024

5

The site was easy to book, easy to find and was small but perfectly formed! Each of the pitches had green space. The toilets and showers were super clean. The camp kitchen was really useful with a kettle and microwave if you needed it. The red squirrels and rabbits added to the charm.

Peaceful and relaxing

Coyne, Tony - 07/06/2024

5

Very rural and quiet campsite, facilities were good, shower and toilet block very clean, camp manager was very welcoming and helpful offering discount codes for nearby attractions. A mixture of caravans, mobile homes and campervans. Nearby river/waterfall was handy for a wee cold water plunge.

I stayed here for 2 nights after visiting Benmore Gardens. If you like being somewhere peaceful then this is ideal. There are walks directly from the site and I saw a red squirrel too which was a bonus. Lovely trees and rhododendrons!

Beautiful setting.

Bignall, Linda - 04/06/2024

5

Annie, who runs the site is a friendly and helpful lady. We booked online on the day we stayed and got all the information we needed by email, including our pitch number, as we were arriving late. We decided to stay another night we liked the area so much and Annie didn't mind that we asked to change our pitch (more sun, as it wasn't exactly in abundance that week).
