We have a separate grassy area for camping. Cars can be parked next to tents when conditions are fair. If there has been very wet conditions we do ask campers to park in the adjacent carpark. There are a number of benches in the field. We limit the number of tents giving everyone plenty of room. This is a great area to observe the dark skies. It is a short walk to the new facilities.

Return

Woodhouse, Philip - 12/04/2024

Excellent site for a quiet get away from it all holiday.Beautiful rural area with small towns and the sea nearby.Longer days out to Inverary and it's castle or bustling Oban.Lots of local walks and places of interest.Safe for young children although older ones may miss phone and internet connection which is sparse.Annie is always the perfect and helpful host and knows the area well having grown up here.I've been coming to the site for over 40 years and always soak up the tranquility and natural beauty.I'll be back!!

A great wee site

McMillan, Malcolm - 03/04/2024

I turned up on a bike with a one-man tent after spending the previous night wild camping, so was looking forward to staying in a proper campsite.Annie was a very welcoming and considerate host. The site is in a beautiful location and has top-notch facilities, including a well-equipped wee kitchen. Lovely, clean showers/toilets and even some decent organic liquid soap. Lots of information available about some of the fantastic sites nearby, including the spectacular neolithic village and chambered cairn just a mile or so down the road.

Walking the Cowal Way

McNab, Kenny - 01/04/2024

Glendaruel Caravan Park is very well situated for doing the Cowal Way it’s bang on the route . Annie was so helpful arranging a cabin for me a few days before they actually opened as I was doing a charity walk. The weather wasn’t very good and I was so relieved to arrive to a nice heated cabin and she supplied anything I required couldn’t be more helpful. I would recommend the service highly and I will be back at some point when the weather improves.

Another wonderful stay

Anderson, Elaine - 23/10/2023

This was our third trip to Glendaruel Caravan Park and we loved it. This time we stayed in the three bedroom pet friendly caravan and it was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well equipped, and a lovely full height window for our dog to watch the squirrels and rabbits. The park is so peaceful and relaxing and the walks are amazing - our favourite being the nearby waterfall. Annie as always was so welcoming and helpful - going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. This little gem has become one of our happy places.
