Nice quiet site with lovely woodland walk adjacent to the campsite. Facilities good, but we could not get TV Signal/FM/DAB Radio Signal or wi-fi at the pitch. Mobile signal is ok though, so you could access web etc from phone. Pics of woodland walk attached.
Would highly recommend this site the surroundings are beautiful and it is situated in lovely grounds quiet clean and very friendly owners
Good communication with Annie before arriving.Good size pitches , some slightly sloping so need levellersVery clean facilities as was the site Good walks and cycle rides from site Discount for Benmore Gardens Limited washing up facilities at the time of stay.
We were walking the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way so arrived on foot for just a one night stay before we moved on the next day. We stayed in the Alder Bothy which was fabulous - so well constructed and cosy and the bedding and towel pack that we could hire was brilliant so we didn't need to bring sleeping bag etc (as we were staying in B&Bs and hotels for the other nights). Annie was wonderfully helpful - even getting us some provisions with a few days notice, so we didn't need to load up bags up with more than necessary. Everything was so tidy and clean and the park is designed so you are not on top of each other. The Bothy was on a quiet edge of the park with a glorious view. We loved our stay!
What you read in all reviews is indeed true, this campsite is a true gem. It’s situated in an former botanic garden which you can see instantly when you arrive, this is how a small scale campsite should look like. Amie is indeed the super host which gives you a warm welcome and plenty of info on what to do. We visited the Botanic Garden of Benmore which is a must see! We had a great stay and hoping to come back someday!
All the facilities were very clean and well appointed. Annie, the site manager was so friendly and helpful in sorting out the very confusing bus time table. Highly recommended.
Beautiful surroundings, well maintained site with excellent facilities. Lovely owner.
We had an amazing stay at Glendaruel. Annie was very welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us when our plans changed last minute. The site is very quiet and in a perfect location for some lovely walks. The shower block was immaculate and the showers were powerful and hot. Everything was perfect and we will definitely return next time we’re in the area.
We have visited many times and enjoy the site so much. The grounds are pristine, the cabin is great my boys love the bunks.
