We love this site and have visited many times. It’s in a beautiful location looking up towards Ben Nevis. The staff are friendly and helpful and the well stocked shop and snack bar are welcome. The sanitation facilities are showing their age a bit but are spotlessly clean and always fully operational.
Cottages, caravan park and campsite were immaculate. We stayed in one of the cottages which was a home from home, had everything you needed which was wonderful. Fantastic scenery at the foot of Ben Nevis. Plenty of walks available, plenty of lolandmarks to see and an abundance of wildlife to see.
Large site with quite a small shower block, depending on the time you’ll being queuing in the camping area or you can walk to the other shower block that supplies the caravans etc. also wanted to use the toilet and shower in the afternoon on two separate days but they were cleaning so had to walk to the other shower block! Overall it’s a good site and the pitches are nice and flat. The new food hut is ok, I wouldn’t rely on it as a main food source the pub up the road is a better option.
We only stayed one night and it was quite rainy, so didn't experience a lot of the site.Facilities and cleanliness were great. We went to the bar, which was friendly and cosy. It was quite quiet on our camping field, not many children, which disappointed my daughter. I did see more families near the electric pitches.Beautiful views when the clouds lifted in the morning.
My partner and I stayed two nights with my daughter to enable us to climb Ben Nevis, but we liked the site so much that we will definitely be coming back. We were able to get a pitch where my daughter could pitch her tent right next to our campervan on the same pitch - a real bonus. The facilities were clean and there is a good shop on site and a restaurant nearby. Altogether a great experience.
Just enjoyed a two week holiday in Glen Nevis, apart from light showers of rain for a couple of days, the weather was brilliant.the park has plenty facilities to accommodate all that was there, there is a onsite shop and a porta cabin style open air canteen which sells breakfasts shut at lunchtime but open late afternoon for evening meals. 500mtrs down the road there is a restaurant bar which serves excellent meals. It is a quiet site and dog friendly and there are dog walking areas, and plenty areas to walk, also lots of thing going on in surrounding area.
The park is beautiful. It’s a big campsite. Unfortunately our neighbours where noisy.
Great facilities, great location and great staff...
This Campsite is in a fantastic location, with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills. We have stayed here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. However, our most recent visit fell short of our expectations. The main issue we had during this visit was the cleanliness of the toilet and shower facilities. When using the facilities early in the morning, it was evident that they had not been cleaned properly. And the situation only deteriorated as the morning progressed. The toilet cubicles were visibly dirty, and the showers showed signs of neglect, with grime accumulating in corners and drains. In the past, we have appreciated the campsite's well-maintained amenities, so encountering this level of neglect was disappointing. Despite this issue, the natural beauty of the location remains a significant draw, and we would consider returning if the cleaning standards were to be improved.
One of the nicest sites I have stayed on. We stayed in a campervan in the hard staying area (Nevis). Great pitch size. Despite the site being large you wouldn’t know it as it was quiet & peaceful. Great facilities. Plenty of toilets & showers available which were kept clean. Fantastic views of mountains & right at the foot of the Ben Nevis trail. Other great local attractions nearby. Lots of shops & supermarkets also near by. Restaurant is just down the road & wow, food was amazing & staff very friendly. There is nothing negative I can say about Glen Nevis site & would highly recommend!
