Lovely site with clean facilities. Reception staff member lovely and well equipped shop. We had a great choice of pitch with not needing EHU. Perfect for dropping the paddle board in 😍 We will definitely return here !!

Excellent experience always enjoyed to stay in Glanllyn

A clean ,family run campsite , with perfect access to the water on the shore of Bala. The facilities are kept very clean all day long. The on site office and shop have enough stock for most needs. A local bus stop at the entrance too.Bale town is only a couple of miles away really so if you are fit enough or wanted to ride a bike there it is easy.

We had our first camping trip in our tent box over the weekend. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly people who escorted us to our pitch. The shop was sufficient for the site, the grounds were clean and tidy as were the toilets and showers. The views were amazing and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and will be returning

Stayed three nights in April 2026, camping and sailing from the beach. The facilities were superb clean and the grass for camping was in very good condition. The beach has been improved for launching craft as any large stones have been removed from the water and used to make the beach harder under foot/trailer.I have been coming once or twice a year to Glanllyn for 3-4 years now - it is very impressive that the quality and standards do not drop but maintained at a very high standard.

Very clean and well maintained site in a beautiful location. Instant hot, free showers, and lots of them so no waiting.A slightly larger area for non-electric pitches would have been appreciated as we were a bit hemmed in, but still really enjoyed our couple of nights.

We spent three nights in our motorhome on a pitch close to the lake. The view was outstanding, especially in the morning when the lake water was like glass. The site is quite large but soaked up people easily and there was a great atmosphere. The showers were very good and kept clean and the owners very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we come this way.

Myself, partner and dog had a fabulous stay here. The site was lovely and clean, staff friendly, other campers friendly and facilities clean and looked after. The location on the lake is so great for any paddle boarding/kayaking. We swam in and it was lovely. We were planning on doing the walk around the lake which we discovered was mostly roads so not ideal with the dog decided to drive a short journey to a hill hike and there appeared to be plenty of walks a short drive away.

This campsite is amazing! Will definitely be returning, the friendliness of the staff alongside the big tent pitches and immediate access to the lake is beyond exceptional! Only a 4 minute drive from the town of Bala. All facilities such as toilets and washing up area was very clean and had no problems at all. Will be returning and would highly recommend.

This was our first time visiting this site and we was not disappointed. We booked a Premium motorhome lakeside pitch which was fantastic we were looking straight over the lake. The site is so quiet and well maintained, the Staff were friendly and helpful. Had full view of the jets as they came over the lake. We had such a lovely time we are planning on a return visit hopefully on the same pitch very soon.
