On the whole, generally the camp site had everything we needed. How ever our pitch was incredibly un level, and this made the use of the awning tricky. The tables that we use for eating were so slopey, our meal times were awkward, as was sitting.We needed to use wood to pack the gap between the caravan legs and the ground. We had to ask at reception for wood !!!

Brilliant campsite and facilities very friendly staff and happy to help I would stay here again but internet signal wasn’t the best and trying to plan are day with where to go each day was a little stressful

Wonderful StayFantastic stay in a beautiful environment. Everything was clean, tidy and well looked after, with wonderful walks nearby and local shops just a 10-minute walk away.The staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome. The shower and washing-up facilities were brilliant too — the showers were lovely and warm, and the cleaning-up units were great. The kids even helped with the pots and pans… they certainly don’t do that at home! 😂😂The only shame was the thunderstorm in the early hours of 27th August, which unfortunately caused our tent to flood. We had to return home a day earlier than planned, but we’ve left a little gift for the next guests to enjoy. ❤️Plots 11 & 12Thank you for everything. We had a lovely warm welcome from the lady at reception- I can't remember her name, but she was great and made us feel at home straight away. I requested a quiet pitch if possible and the one we were allocated was perfect. What I loved most was the walks into the woods behind which was great as we had our dogs with us. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean, and the extra touches like the dog washing area would be so handy in wet muddy weather.I'll definitely be coming back because the campsite was excellent and the surrounding area of the Forset of Dean offers so much scope for exploring

Had a great time with all the family. The site was very nice and the warden was lovely. Good clean facilities and nice walks and great play area for granddaughter and niece. Would highly recommend

beautiful location within a short distance of some really good family days out.atmosphere was friendly-staff happy to help/chat.facilities are really clean and functional-well placed in middle of the camp+include a separate disabled toilet/shower with a child sized bath.small onsite shop covers your basic needs.reception also has maps of the walking trails and a list of nearby day trips.The site opens out into some beautiful woodland with a short walk down to a beautiful little waterfall.There is also a lovely little park onsite, and if you need it, a slightly bigger play area within a 5 min drive.Only slight niggle we had was entirely not the campsites fault but worth noting incase you also have a asd child whom regulates using devices, was that cell reception was a bit iffy- obvs to be expected in the area being so close to the woods but worth noting if this is a major issue for your kid. However we managed to place my phone away from tree line and it worked better. Highly recommend!

We had such a great time on our stay, staff member was so friendly and definitely made our experience there even better, in such a beautiful location with all the facilities you could want, toilets clean definitely a place I would go to again.

As a family with 2 young SEN children we are always wary about sites, but straight away this site put our minds at ease the wardens were so welcoming and lovely, the kids felt relaxed and enjoyed playing, the facilities were always clean and ready to use. We will definitely be coming back without a doubt and have already recommended to family and friends and our followers on tiktok. The kids actually cried when it was time to leave they had such a lovely time
