We have stayed here a number of times and we always enjoy our stay. It wasn't full so noise levels were just right. Toilets were absolutely spotless. Great location with lots of places to visit and lots to do.
This site was a delight. It was so well thought out and all facilities top class. There had been so much thought put into the details, showers and toilet block had a drying room for those wet times, a place to wash dogs and bikes off with just the right length of hose. All the details were really appreciated. Good hard standing pitches which were essential after the recent monsoons. Close to the lovely Wye valley but away from tourist hotspots. I have already recommended this site to friends.
Lovely area to visit , small site but very tidy . Shower & Toilet block good , well looked after site . Local pub within walking distance .
Great cmapsite, clean, tidy and well maintaned with good facilities. Some of the cleanest toilets and showers ive come across. Staff really friendly and helpful. One thing that could be improved is that they have a dog / bike wash area which is great but no drainage so it gets quite boggy just with there just being a few concrete slabs and then grass.
We had a great time, it was a clean site and staff were on hand to help with anything if we needed them. There were some beautiful walks, places for kids to play if you have them and plenty of room to exercise the dogs. The facilities were great too. There’s places to buy food within a short driving distance, but it’s best to bring your own food if you don’t want to drive, although you can purchase ice creams on site!
Really nice site not a big site, but it's what we like. Staff were very helpful and always pleasant. Only downside was that as we'd had a lot of rain the field by play area and grass by pitches were quite waterlogged! But dog wash behind toilets got the dog clean.Ideally located as less than half hour from Forest of Dean , Chepstow and Monmouth.
Staff were very welcoming. Showers were hot and easy to clean up after use for the next camper. Perfectly lovely place to stop for a few nights to explore the area on foot or by car.
Donna and here husband were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. You were made to feal very relaxed and almost part of the family. Great rural retreat with excellent facilities.
We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter bank holiday & had a great time. It's a lovely site with clean facilities. We enjoyed being able to walk into the local village through the connected fields. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, which included helping to tow a number of guests out of the grass pitches when they became stuck in the mud & fixing our broken electric hook up (in the pouring rain!). We would definitely return & recommend!
Very clean , great facilities wonderful staff, Leeanna is a gem !Close to Puzzle wood, Beechenhurst, Clearwell caves and a short drive to Monmouth which has great little shops and restaurant's .Great site for mature couples or young families, Dog friendly , well maintained grounds.
