Tidy and friendly site. Good facilities. Great location for exploring the Wye Valley. Plenty of scenic walks locally. Not great for local cycling due to busy and fast road.

We have stayed here twice for long weekends. The site is well laid out with clean facilities. Plenty of space for your tent and car and not on top of the neighbours. The only negative, and i mean only negative is the lack of any pubs that are easy to get to without driving. There is one in walking distance, but its a good walk either across fields or down a road with no path. Wouldn't fancy it in the dark.

The female toilets and showers blocked daily - this could be a problem if you were desperate! But always dealt with quickly and effectively.

We loved the fact that it was such a neat, little site with well sized pitches because it lends to being so friendly and carefree for the children. The toilet blocks were clean and ample and always had warm water! And the woods meant there was endless adventure to be had! It’s near so many other activity options too. We’ve already recommended it to friends! My one recommendation would be to invest a little more in the swings area for the younger children.

We had a lovely short stay at the Forest and Wye valley campsite, very family friendly site with great walks from the campsite. The pitches were large and well kept. The facilities were also well kept and well located for the whole site.

Great site and good location for nearby attractions. The only reason I wouldn't return is because I have a camper van and prefer to then walk and cycle to places after I've pitched up and unfortunately the roads are not pleasant for cycling and lots of the local footpaths were very overgrown and inaccessible. But if you have a vehicle it's fine and a good location for kids.

Disability facilities exactly what we’re needed for my family . The site was lovely and quiet with large well spaced pitches that were neat and well looked after . Main bathrooms , washing and washing up facilities were well kept , clean and modern. Dealt with the family by email , phone and face to face and found them to both be helpful, polite and friendly . Shop on site carries none perishables but the shops are very close for all your needs so not a problem . Fantastic list of takeaways etc on the boards in the amenities block which was very helpful . Will definitely be going back . Wi-Fi not the fastest but no big problem .
