Findhorn Bay Holiday Park

Overlooking the beautiful Findhorn Bay and just a short walk from the Moray Firth, this Park has unspoilt golden sands, pinewood forests and sheltered coves right on its doorstep. With a climate that is influenced by the Gulf Stream, Findhorn is famed for having sunshine levels well above the national average and is a popular area for both wildlife viewing and enjoying a variety of water sports.

Just a mile from the quaint village of Findhorn, this Holiday Park overlooks the bay's iconic golden sands and is situated in one of the loveliest parts of the Moray coast, As well as providing visitors with a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, the Park is a popular centre for both watching wildlife and enjoying a variety of water sports.

At Findhorn, we can accommodate touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents, with electric hook-up. Our onsite facilities include toilets, hot showers, a chemical disposal point, a drive over grey water drain and a laundry with coin operated washing machines and a dryer.

For our smaller campers, we have a children's playground on site and all guests can make use of free Wi-Fi site wide.

Dogs are welcome on the park but MUST be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up afterwards please.

We have 20 holiday caravans within four categories that cater to all tastes, budgets and individual needs. Each has a bathroom with toilet, shower and hand-basin with instant hot-water, a fully fitted kitchen with either a gas or electric cooker and fridge, gas or electric heating.

Designed and built to a high ecological specification, the electrical power for our eco-pods and eco-chalets comes from our three wind turbines, and sewage is processed through our own ‘Living Machine’ water treatment system.

One of the unique features of this Holiday Park is that it is next door to the world famous Findhorn Foundation and Community, with its award winning shop offering organic food, gifts and books, a cafe serving delicious organic food, and the Universal Hall, which is a 350 seat theatre.

Westwood, a large and spacious ground floor cabin is situated in a quiet area of the Park Ecovillage.

The stylish and modern kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven and fridge, cutlery and crockery, and opens onto the living area with comfortable, soft furnishings providing a cosy place for relaxation.

A delightful sunroom makes the most of Findhorn’s unusually mild microclimate and is perfect as a separate dining area.

The outdoor decking and furniture provides a tranquil contemplation spot.

It’s a sectional building on stilts that was prefabricated off site. Double glazing and large, south-facing rooms make the most of thermal insulation so you can be cosy all year round.

Clearwater is one of our newest and most elegant guesthouses situated in a quiet area of the Park Ecovillage. It’s a light and spacious ground-level eco-lodge, with a timber-clad exterior, decking and private garden.

Here you'll find an airy open-plan fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, fridge and full inventory of cutlery and crockery, opening out into the light, sunny living and dining area. Large patio doors and windows showcase the outdoor decking onto the private garden area and pond.

All bedrooms are elegantly furnished and each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. The single and twin bedrooms open out onto the decking.

An environmentally friendly design, Clearwater uses solar thermal panels to produce hot water for the bathrooms and central heating. In addition, some of the solar thermal system controls are powered from photovoltaic panels that heat the hot water via a photovoltaic pump.

This is a non-smoking pet free property.

The open plan upper floor living includes a fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and a full inventory of cutlery and crockery. The dining area is furnished with a solid oak dining table and six dining chairs.

In the sitting area, there is a leather suite comprising a three seater sofa pull out bed and matching twin seater. For your entertainment, there is a flatscreen TV with Freeview.

Leading from the sitting room is a generous balcony with outdoor patio furniture to enjoy beautiful views and fresh Findhorn air.

Downstairs are two double bedrooms (one double bedded, and one with twin beds) and a family bathroom.

Each centrally heated chalet accommodates four people in comfort and six when using the pull out sofa bed in the sitting room. Both chalets are non-smoking, one is pet friendly.

Fantastic touring site

We usually stay down on the beach but it was too windy so thought we'd give Findhorn Bay a try. We were very surprised, excellent clean toilet and shower facilities, they look very new. Great walks through the foundation, lovely quirky shops and very friendly people.

This was my third visit to stay at the Findhorn Holiday Park in 2025.It's a great location, just a few minutes from the A96 but in a peaceful rural location opposite Findhorn Bay. There are great walks from the site, which is also just a short drive from all the great Moray Coast locations to visit.I stayed in one of their budget static vans, which was very clean and comfortable, with everything provided that I needed, a great hot shower, and all at an extremely good value price!The staff are all super friendly and helpful. I will be back!

Tired and in need of renovation

We were really disappointed with the site. It’s not a holiday park it’s rundown and in need of a lot of work to tidy it up. The children’s play area was a disgrace in its condition and offering of items for them to use . Flower boxes with dead flowers and the grass areas really needed attention. The area around the reception was exactly the same Toilets at the side of the tent area badly needed a deep clean as they were dirty. There was a brush to give the floor a sweep out but it was disgusting. The site is also very dark at night with no lighting around it if you wish ti use showers and toilets once it’s darkIt’s such a shame as it is in the ideal location for touring the area and visiting Findhorn but it needs a fresh set of eyes to look at how run down it is

This is a very special place to spend time. It can be quiet or busy but always tranquil. Difficult to explain actually. Many places nearby to explore, lovely beaches and its own climate. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I can’t think of anything that I dislike about holidaying here. Thank you

Warm welcome at reception. Site is very tidy and well maintained. Provided with a map showing where the pitch and facilities were.Very impressed with toilet/ shower block. Individual large shower rooms with heated towel rail, wash basin and toilet also a hand dryer. Water piping hot. Good covered space for Dish Washing. Interesting to walk around the Findhorn Community and there is an amazing shop, also a cafe on site.About a 20min walk into town where you can take your pick from 3 great pubs. 😋
