This is our 3rd time staying in Dundonald Caravan & Camping Park. We love it it's very clean and tidy and usually quiet. Would have given it our usual 5 star review but on our last night we were kept awake by our neighbour camper who was talking on a phone from 23:50 - 02:35 (no exaggeration) in fact he left his own camper to take the phone call OUTSIDE OUR caravan (perhaps as not to wake his own family) my husband eventually opened the door of our caravan at 01:30 to point out the hour and that he was keeping us awake, he didn't even acknowledge my husband he just kept on talking at the same volume this is the first time we've ever had a problem with noise on this site. I know this rude camper isn't Dundonald fault but if there was a phone number that could have been called for any disturbances after 10pm it would have been helpful we've found that most all campsites have an out of hours/security telephone number for this reason. As it was our last night it put a damper on our stay
Great stay. Perfect location to visit Belfast. Lovely pitches and site well maintained. Great staff and lots of information about bus services into the city.
Situacion is good. You have the bus to Belfast very close
Very disappointed. Disgusting dirty showers, I didn't use them as they were that bad. Toilets not much better. On arrival there was full black bin bags on our pitch, a disposable razor and a tooth brush on the road in front of our pitch. The grass was also very long and overall the site looked very untidy. The fact that at least half of the pitches were taken up by the travelling community was uncomfortable and I didn't feel safe leaving my caravan for a prolonged period of time.
Great location with excellent pitches. Plenty of food outlets and entertainment nearby.
Whole stay was incredibly easy and enjoyable. Showers were hot, WiFi worked, camp grounds were clean. Quiet in the evenings! Not a single negative thing to say!
Near to chain restaurants and it’s not the quietist of sites. Be aware you will hear busy traffic. Clean and tidy. Unmanned site but perfect for visiting the titanic museum. Secure and there is a small walk nearby.
Very surprised good location with nice facilities WiFi not that good
This stay was partially for work. We got off the ferry at 06:30 and onto our pitch for 07:00, as we had paid for the previous night too. Taxi into Belfast for £15 and I was ready to deliver my presentation. Location couldn’t be better. We use our own facilities so can’t comment on the loos and showers, but the CDP was fine. Pitch side water and grey waste was vert convenient.Great value for money too.
Staff is very friendly, site is well kept . Very handy for the bus to Belfast. The restaurants within the vicinity are excellent would recommend the Indian.
