Dundonald Aire

Hewitt, Irene - 08/01/2022

Spent two days in Dundonald Aire. Got a meal in nearby restaurant. Very convenient to park. Walked along greenway. Can’t wait to come back with bikes when weather bit better. Daughter of friend enjoyed nearby ice skating rink. Felt very safe within gated keypad operated system. A drive over waste disposal for grey water would be nice addition to facilities for Motorhomes but all in all great site. Very good value for money. Will definitely come back. Although spaces available when on site webpage stated fully booked. Perhaps this could be looked into. Some way people who are not going to turn up can cancel again.

Central to amenities

McKenna, Ian - 05/01/2022

Good location stayed 3 nights over the new year along with friends. The only downfall for motorhomes is nowhere to drive over to empty waste water. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will visit again in the future. It is a pity other councils had not got the foresight as Lisburn and Castlereagh have in keeping camp sites open as aires in the winter months.

Booking this site was a little tricky as it doesn’t allow u book more than 1 night. We didnt see any staff on-site however everything was 100% and we didn’t require the assistance of any staff. Security into and out of the site was very good also. We enjoyed our staff and will be back soon. It’s an exceptional location and great value for money

Great park felt very safe and the grounds were super clean, but the bathroom I kept putting in our code and it wouldn’t open perhaps because of COVID?

Christmas Shopping in Belfast

Bredin, Colin - 23/12/2021

This is a fantastic site. Not only is it good value for money in the winter months. It is secure and very clean. It's a pity that other council sites do not adopt the same principles of a dedicated Aires during the winter season. I've been here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The bus stop to Belfast is just outside the park and the bus runs every hour. There is restaurants and a cinema on your door step. And off course the Ice Ring is a must go too for the family.

Weekend at Dundonald

Farmer, Philip - 23/12/2021

Great quiet spot, very secure, everything clean and tidy. Young warden on Saturday very helpful. So convenient to all the local attractions which booked into and used for a fun packed weekend. In laws came with us in their motorhome and were really impressed plus the bus stop was so close for him as he has medical conditions. Absolutely fantastic spot.

Two night away in December

McMullan, Samuel - 15/12/2021

Two night stay in December to facilitate my wife's Christmas party in Belfast, combined with Christmas shopping. We stayed in our Motorhome and brought a car to travel in and out to Belfast, although I found out the bus isn't far from the campsite. The wash facilities were closed at this time of year, but campsite was excellent, clean, tidy and secure. Well worth the money..
