Dulas Meadow

4.8 (52 reviews)

Alison & Gregg welcome you to Dulas Meadow, Anglesey's newest campsite. An adult-only site with top quality facilities for both camping and motorhomes. The site has sprawling views of meadow and mountain, and is only a short hop away from Anglesey’s famed sandy beach of Lligwy.

Alison & Gregg are an entrepreneurial couple with incredible memories of camping in the beautiful surroundings of Anglesey over the years. It has been their dream to run their own site and give others the opportunity to experience an area so close to their hearts. This site is their dream come true.

The campsite boasts 10 pitches in total - 8 with electricity, standard to large sizes, and 2 are extra large, without electricity. There are 3 drinking water points within close proximity, so you never have to walk far for water! Wherever you are on the campsite, there is a stunning view. Much attention has been given to you being able to park your car close to your tent without taking them onto the field and disturbing the pretty location.

The vibe may be exclusive, but at the same time, we’ve put the emphasis on helping you make new friends. We have two little social areas where you may bump into that person who becomes a lifelong friend: after all, holiday friendships always have that extra special connection.

Nobody likes a draughty shower block either, and this is where Alison’s love of the deluxe really kicks in. Our showers are warm and welcoming – more like a VIP area than something you’d expect to find in a field on Anglesey.

We’re still putting the finishing touches to Dulas Meadow, and we’re really aiming to be one of the best motorhome sites in North Wales.

We offer four hardstanding motorhome pitches, two with water, electricity and grey waste. There is also one grass motorhome pitch. These hardstanding pitches have uninterrupted views and a rolling field in front of them.

Meadow Blossom will open in late April 2023 and will bring some pamper to the camper! She has a dinky lounge to share a coffee, shower, toilet and a mirrored space for that all-important blow dry before becoming wind-swept!

Flushing Meadow is for both male and female campers and caravanners, with one shower and two toilets. Finished to a high specification, each cubicle has its own sink.

Meadow Suds is our dish washing cabin. It has hot and cold running water, sinks and draining area for all Dulas Meadow guests to use.

The facilities are outstanding. 5 stars does not di the facilities justice. They are the best I have encountered and are just superb. Great area to walk to the seaside or river walk. Fantastic site for camping. Lovely and peaceful . Owners very friendly. Fantastic addition of a ladies only hut which contains a shower, toilet, dressing room to do your hair and make up and a chill out room. Facilities where kept very clean and tidy. We where treated to the most spectacular light show on the first night 🤣 (thunder and lightening) no flooding of pitches which is great.Overall we will definately return

Peaceful

clean and quiet, Gregg was very helpful. Spacious plot but area completely open so no sense of privacy. was surprised at lack of information about the area despite a small book which didn't give directions to the places mentioned. It would have been nice to have a area map to help orientate to the area and suggestions re local walks. It was definately value for money

Peaceful and Idyllic

From the moment we arrived we knew we had stumbled on the perfect campsite.Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and extremely well maintained. The owners came and greeted us and made us feel really welcome. They've done an excellent job with the facilities which were modern (but in beautifully built wooden cabins) and they were spotless throughout our stay.I had the pleasure of using their female only cabin to shower and get ready which made me forget I was even camping! My favourite part!We made use of their new sauna and cold shower experience and it didnt disappoint. Lovely views over the fields and a completely private and tranquil experience. The most relaxed Ive felt in ages!It was in walking distance to the main road, close to a local pub and not far from the coastal path with access to secluded coves and beautiful beaches. We will definitely be back!

Peace on beautiful Anglesey

We had a wonderful 4 days on this campsite Gregg & Alison, the owners, came to meet us & were proud to tell us of their vision and the upgrades they were already working on. The facilities were clean and individual with nice touches. I took advantage of the ladies only facilities. Although the site was quiet, there was never any waiting or queuing. The owners advised us on where to go & what to see, although we didn’t get to do it all. We took a bus to Carnarvon, via Bangor, from the bus stop at the end of the road. Moelfre was an interesting, wonderful surprise (visit Anne’s Pantry) and Amlwch harbour (Skies for crepes!). Local beaches such as Traeth Llygwy are stunning. We didn’t have time to climb Parys Mountain - next time! I would have liked to have a local map & bus timetable in the info room, but the owners are around for you to ask. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing Sauna

Easy to find and a wonderful location with great views. Gregg was very helpful and explained all the facilities. The sauna was spacious, with a changing area and cold shower overlooking fields. It was a wonderful treat and very relaxing. We didn't use it but the covered area with fire pit is ideal for winding the evening away.

This is our 3rd stay at Dulas Meadow. The site is lovely and quiet, away from main roads with fantastic views. Facilities are always clean and well maintained. Owners are lovely and friendly and regularly see them around the site. Small and adult only site suits us and our 2 dogs perfectly. Will definitely visit again
