We enjoyed our stay at Drummohr CS and would use again. A very clean site, with showers and toilets that are clean, warm and have music 24 7. The staff that check you in are great and get you to your pitch quick after check in. There's a bus stop close to the site entrance to nearby towns and Edinburgh.
A very warm welcome from staff. Immaculate site and excellent facilities. The site is well located for ease of access to tourist areas like Edinburgh and Rosslyn to make but twoCan’t fault the site
Lovely site and well maintained. Staff excellent. Pitches well spaced out. Facilities block very clean. Personally I don't like the deep sinks at wash-up area which is the same at all sites.
We've just returned from our 5th stay at this fantastic site. We tend to stay in the Adventure bothy seeing our son is dinosaur mad, this time around though there was an unfortunate power cut that the site staff fixed, only for it to happen again within the hour. Without complaining or demanding alternative lodgings for the night, Helen said she was going to put us up in one of the lodges at no extra cost because of the concern of the cod seeing it was freezing outside. This was an amazing gesture which my wife & kids accepted gleefully! We then moved our stuff to the lodge & had a great night there after. We'll definitely be back again at some point soon.
Had a great stay in one of the boothi sStaff so helpful an informative , would definitely recommend and we will definitely stay again.Thanks. Mark and Meryl
We’ve stayed multiple times and love coming to Drummohr. It’s dog friendly with a nice wee walk for them and there are lots of walks nearby. Staff are friendly and the site is well-run. Everything you need is nearby and Edinburgh a quick trip from the nearby station.
Drummohr makes you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive, the staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. The site is kept so clean and tidy, I've stayed lots of times and always receive the same warm welcome. I would definitely recommend Drummohr and give it a 10 out of 10
From the moment we arrived, we knew our stay would be amazing, the reception staff very welcoming, the gentleman who showed to our pitch was brilliant and talked us through where all the facilities were, he also recommended where to take our dogs for a run. The old mine site, which they absolutely loved. The facilities were spotless, loved the faxt there was music in the toilet block/family bathrooms. Didn't use the kitchen or laundrette but did look and they were a bonus to have, along with the dog wash, although our dogs weren't keen on it. Lots of dog bins around the site, which were regularly emptied. Dog walk was great.. The outside pot wash was great, liked having washing up liquid available. Stayed for 3 nights, spent most of the time on the beach as we beachcombe. Went into Edinburgh via the train, Wallyford station a 20 mins walk. The children's play area looked really good,.unfortunately I over 12 so wouldn't play on it. Would definitely stay again and 100% recommended
Stayed in bothy for first time was great only issue was tv but staff great sorted it and gave us nice bottle and choc for the boys thanks
Perfect site, from the toilets and showers to the size of the pitches and the lovely dog walk, everything was immaculately presented. Lovely position 2 minutes walk from the nature reserve with great paths for walking, running or cycling.
