Water for bath could have been a bit hotter.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Drummohr camping. The site is very nice and very clean. That was our first stop in Scotland and I gotta say, it put the bar very high and so far we didn't find a nicer camping that this. Would definitely recommend and come back again!!
The site was ideally suited for a visit to Edinburgh on the train, which we did a few times. The site was run amazingly well with brilliant, hands on,friendly wardens. We loved EVERYTHING on the site and would visit again in a heartbeat circumstances permitting
Staff were really he and friendly. Great location for bus.Did a great sightseeing bus tour in Edinburgh.
Friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Everything you need for a quite and relaxing getaway .
From the moment we arrived it was clear we were going to love our weekend break. A warm welcome with information about the local area offered. We stopped in a family bothy which was excellent! Far bigger than we expected, warm and cosy with everything we could need for our stay. The toilet block was very clean and warm with good showers. The site was very peaceful and we slept very well! Our little one loved the play ground which was lovely and spacious with great equipment. The location was perfect for us with regular buses into Edinburgh and a short drive to the beach, supermarket and fish and chips. We would absolutely love to return!
This was a perfect little Pod. With a comfortable bed, seating area, TV toaster and nice underfloor heating it was fab. The site facilities are excellent. Staff were helpful and welcoming. There are both rail and bus services within walking distance with great services into central Edinburgh. My only niggle would be that the shower temperature fluctuates a bit when taps etc are used so avoid busy times!I fully intend to visit again.
Monday 16th September, I arrived in end of the afternoon near 16h. I was welcomed very well, the staff asked quickly at my demands. I slept in tent with electricity. The location of the campsite were prefect near stop bus for Edinburgh. Thank you so much at all staff.
Site easily accessible from the A1.Bus stop in to Edinburgh is a few minutes away with regular buses.Site staff very friendly and helpful, facilities excellent.
Lovely presented site with thoughtful facilities and friendly helpful staff. We stayed in a Lammermuir lodge which was very clean and comfortable. There was an unexpected welcome pack plus a small amount of teabags, coffee, sugar, and milk which was much appreciated after a 6 hour drive. There was also dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid which you hope to find when self catering. If going with a dog 5-10 minutes walk away are Mussleburgh Lagoons, Levenhall Links, and The John Muir Way, 3 minutes away are the grounds of the mining museum, and the wooded dog walk on site is a great idea. I would recommend Drummohr as an excellent base for exploring East Lothian and Edinburgh.
