Our stay over the new year period was extremely enjoyable despite the weather. With biblical rain and high winds the site drained very well The site facilities are excellent but would like the pot washing station to be indoor. Would definitely consider coming back again.

This time we only stayed for one night on our journey south at the end of our holiday. It was lovely & quiet due to it being just after new year. We were given a spot close to the facilities so we didn't need to be out in the freezing temperatures longer than necessary. The facilities were spotless as always. It's only a short walk to the bus stop from the entrance to the site where buses pass every 10 mins & can take you into Musselburgh or on to Edinburgh going north or North Berwick & Dunbar going south. The staff are really friendly & helpful. The layout & facilities are much better than some other sites we have visited that have been more expensive. We'll be back again soon.

We stayed in our tourer caravan with family on other pitches for new year,first year we have been away for new year and would definitely di it again.Great location,Great site. Amazing toilet and shower block.staff very friendly and helpful.We loved the little dog walk too

Brilliant stay, great site , staff and location.Showers can get cold when busy, but minor issue.

Met by friendly staff at reception who always made you feel welcome and gave you ideas for exploring whilst in the area. They also allocated us a different pitch as the original pitch was sodden. This did not detract from our stay at all and was a very nice pitch. Definitely be back again.

Lovely location close to public transport routes. The facilities are of a high standard and nothing is too much for staff to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

You have a really lovely site, just a few minutes off the A1 - perfect for us, travelling a mere 2 hours from our home in Northumberland. The site is 5minutes walk to the bus stop into Edinburgh, which is perfect for us in our Motorhome. The buses run every 10 minutes or so, even on New Years Day (wow!) and is a journey of about 45 minutes (just enough time to chill and plan the day/ admire the views - Potobello is somewhere we’d now love to explore in the future). We were welcomed at the barrier and straight onto our pitch - quick and easy and lots of info provided e.g facilities on site, buses, trains etc. Having stayed at a sister site, Herding Hill, we found the toilet/shower blocks and kitchen equally pleasant - very clean, hot showers, love proper hand dryer and sink cubicles! The surrounding area is great - the John Muir way on your doorstep, more to be explored by us in warmer months. We walked to Musselburgh which was a very pleasant 2 mile walk along the Firth of Forth.

I camped for three nights at Drummohr in a tent and loved my adventure to Edinburgh.Staff were thoughtful, friendly and helpful, even got escorted to our site.A quiet campground with ample space.Bring a 'Mains Socket Adapter' cable for power on a powered site, please call the office to confirm.Small kitchen, includes bar refrigerator/freezer, kettle, toaster and a sink with hot water.No hot plate for frying eggs etc. but there are outside bbq's on some sites (& picnic tables), but not useful in the winter snow/winds. Vending machines with tea/coffee, snacks.The shower and toilet facilities are fantastic, never a queue for the shower, and the impressive part was facilities for anyone with low mobility or in a wheelchair! I would advise checking in before sunset, otherwise there is not enough light to set-up.Overall, 5 out of 5 because it had everything I needed.

A great site with great rail link's to Edinburgh and close enough to drive,the facilities looked brand new and we're very clean there's also a kid's play area and dog walk
