We have often stayed in Donkey Creek as it is a lovely place to stop off on our way north or south as we stay in Scotland.The staff are fantastic, the facilities are spotless and the local pubs (coach and Horses and The Ship) are dog friendly and serve great food.

Wow the airstrip at the back of the site watching Jets come and go, lovely pubs with excellent food, site is well kept and large pitches, toilet facilities are well kept and excellent cleanliness, what a find, well worth a visit and think this will be our go to place, ( everyone knew our loony pup!!! absolutely friendly with dogs) I am so glad we found this site, But please don't overbook because we want to come again, amazing and value for money, security is also secure, nothing to complain about more than 5 Stars 🤩

We first found this place last year and we have returned this year. It’s a stunning site and the facilities are IMMACULATE!! Honestly so chilled out, stunning vibe, stunning site and we will be back

Excellent first time stay in beautiful weather. The staff are the most friendly and helpful team. My husband cycled to Lytham in 20 mins and I went on the bus. Very useful to have a copy of timetable in reception. Such a high standard on the site and lovely level pitches . Showers immaculate. Great walk into Freckleton and very friendly people .

We were recommended by friends as we do not usually use private sites as we have membership with a club , we have always been disappointed with private sites but were pleasantly suprised with Donkey Creek . The site was tidy clean ( could do with more hooks in bathrooms). We had to do diy check in which worked well, although on the only occasion we used reception found them not overly friendly but did sort our problem. Cycle paths , walking paths are all excellent getting you to neighbouring towns & villages , pubs are good in Freckleton too , plus you have the added jet displays from the nearby airport . On the whole well done Donkey Creek !

Stayed for three nights because it was well located for as being a 15 minute walk to the Bus stop which ran us into Lytham for the Festival.Only Fully serviced pitches were available when we booked which we didn't really require but had to suffer the cost. Decent facilities, friendly Staff but considered it a bit pricey like most things these days.
