A wonderful small campsite with a beautiful beach

Parker, Judy - 20/09/2022

This campsite was small, intimate, and quiet, ideal for a bit of relaxation and sleep in our busy travels. Showers and loos ok, washing up facilities ok and the launderette was great though instructions a bit unclear. The walk to the village through a little wood was pretty and the bay was gorgeous, so went swimming in the last of the warm days! The walk to the caves is a must, very interesting to see the geology of them, but go before 11am as tourist coaches descended three at once so the place was rammed. There is a wonderful cafe (the Corner House) that serves homemade scones and cakes, a memorable visit, and a couple of good walks from the site were to Cregagh Wood and to Loughareema. The manager on-site couldn’t have been more helpful, thank you! A lovely stay.

Perfect spot for sightseeing all around the area. The camp site has everything we needed. A pub nearby, good food there, the sea and a small beach, walks around the area and the site is great for kids! Lots of other small towns to visit and eat out! Friendly staff and very entertaining!!

Beautiful location

Murphy, Sarah - 03/09/2022

Beautiful location, beach within few mins walk. Nice playground few mins too off site. Good clean toilets/showers (£1) Very helpful staff, unfortunately had 2 nights with ignorant neighbours staying in nearby pods who were very loud past 'quiet time'. Unfortunately they didn't quieten despite best efforts from warden. She apologised for the noise the mornings after we were disturbed. I'd definitely recommend the campsite, lovely location and warden.

Bonfire on the Beach

Hendley, Lisa - 01/09/2022

Wonderful short stay. Exceeded our expectations. Amanda is very welcoming and had activities organised to suit everyone. The highlight was the evening bonfire on the beach with everyone chatting and a local singer with his guitar taking requests.

lovely place to stay

I was expecting a basic pod and was really surprised to have a toilet, proper mattresses, microwave and kettle. I recommend that you improve the info on the website as it doesn't give enough detail. Staff were friendly and really accommodating. Campsite is close to village, beach and playpark.

Cheap, Friendly and Quiet

Mullan, Sharon - 27/08/2022

This was my second booking at the glamping pods in cushendun. I enjoyed my stay both times, good price, close to park and beach and within easy driving distance to lots of other small towns along the coast road. My only negative would be the showering and washing facilities. Definitley not the cleanest, the shower is actually a health and safety hazard I got badly burnt in it on the first morning despite trying different settings numerous times I was getting extreme heat to the point I was nearly scalded then it changed to freezing cold and just kept alternating. Would have been really stuck if any of the kids needed a shower as couldn't have put them in that. second day decided to just use the sinks that are provided with the curtain around them to have a quick wash and the curtains were absolutely disgusting covered in mould and didn't actually fully cover the length of the cubicle so couldn't actually get washed properly. Definitely if wc facilities were upgraded would b 5stars.
