Very good site stayed there 3 times now

I met up with my sister who has stayed here before and it was just as she said, really well run and the Lodges are fabulous.The site is well managed and everyone we met was friendly.We stayed in the Birch which was wonderfully clean and modern with a veranda overlooking the lake. A basket of tea, coffee and bread and milk awaits you, a nice touch.Plenty of hot water, great shower but we couldn't get enough hot water for the bath to fill so gave up. The only downside ( and this seems common in Lodges) is that the mattresses could do with replacing, as not comfortable.There a nice bar and water activities if you want to learn, we enjoyed the Birdlife from Geese to Ducks wondering the site and a cheeky Robin on the veranda, lovely.All in all a good stay and will return again.

Stayed for the weekend in the Hideout Lodge and absolutely loved it ❤️ when we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady in reception and our weekend went on to be one of best we've all had. The lodge is beautiful, the view of the lake is stunning and the food and service at the café is brilliant, highly highly recommend this brilliant place and we are heading back again soon ❤️

Everything we needed for our stay. Clean, comfortable accommodation at a decent price. I’d recommend it to anyone. Friendly staff on site to help with any queries if you have any.

Very good location & very good facilities

Perfect location to stay as a group! Spiders can be an issue! Book taxis in advance for return, bus stop perfect for cheap and fast trip into town

Location is great for us personally as we live in Birmingham so not a long journey at all. The Park was clean and looked well maintained.Our lodge (Cherry Lodge) was just perfect we could not fault it in anyway and the goodie box on arrival with cereal, crisps and doggy bag for you our little Rosie was a nice touch.Thank you for a lovely breakLiz Brooks

I’ve just spent a fantastic half term break with my son and three of his friends!The lodge was of high standard with everything we needed, including extra towels for the hot tub and a welcome food pack !The hot tub was regularly checked and maintained at a great temperature needed for February weather.The young people were well looked after by H at the water park for the day. He obviously has the patience of a saint ! In the meantime I enjoyed a lovely massage at the well being hut.Beautiful surroundings and all in all a great week and would highly recommend it.
