Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay with us.Both the fishing tackle shop and The Den are independent businesses, so I'm afraid we have no control over them and can't unfortunately be hold responsible for them. You mention no staff. I would be interested to know more regarding this point that you made. There are always staff on site and the phone is always manned as it diverts to a member of staff's mobile phone, when not answered in the office. We always hope that our guests have a great stay with us, so are disappointed that this was not the case for you.

Fabulous stay

Burgess, Janet - 05/09/2026

The staff were welcoming and friendly, the glamping pod was lovely and clean and quiet, it was cosy and had everything provided that you would need. A short walk to chapel centre and a 20 min walk to ingolmels so perfect location. There is an onsite cafe and club house the food was delicious and reasonably priced. There is a fishing shop onsite if you do fishing and the staff there were knowledgeable and very helpful. We will definitely be booking again.

Excellent accommodation, lakes need attention

Hill, Joanne - 02/09/2026

We have been three times to Chapel Fields and found the accommodation to be fantastic, very clean and everything you would need in there. We had a glamping pod on the pond side. The last twice we have been we’ve noticed the amount of weed floating in the pond has increased, the ponds do need a little attention and the one we were by needs restocking. We will try again in a couple of years as it’s such a lovely quiet area and we love the accommodation, just hope the fishing is better next time 😊

Pod / chalet accommodation is of a high standard & the placement of the pods leaves sufficient space to feel private. The staff friendly, helpful & professional- customer service good.

Declined

Maddison, Maxine - 31/08/2026

The site is in a great location for days out while the hubby fishes. The fishing, however, was not very good this time. The horseshoe lake around the pods are now full of weed and the fishing was poor. Hubby move to the other lake but still struggled to catch anything. In the accommodation the basics needed for self catering need to have a bit more. The frying pan was tiny, luckily I packed a big one with a lid to make a curry and a spag Bol. I also packed my air fryer which was a godsend. One of the doors to the kitchen units needed to be screwed as the door was lopsided, and the kick board fell on my foot when I was opening the fridge door. The sofa bed in the lounge also could do with looking at. The bed in the back room was however very comfortable.

Fantastic, the pods are amazing everything you need and more

Vernon, Emma - 27/08/2026

First time staying in one of the pods they are absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe how well thought out the pods were. My daughter loved her upstairs room and our pull out bed was perfect the curtain makes it even better. Just a short walk to the shops, chip shops, arcades and the beach that we love spending time on. Would definitely recommend and will be booking for next year.

the place to stay

Taylor, Mick - 25/08/2026

pod was excellent, came with everything. staff out of this world for their help. we changed dates a week before from start of week to the end of the week. they had a vacancy and just swapped it with no issues bo extra cost. they beat the price from booking .com.pod was clean and spacious/ private parking. we will be back, downside, long walk into chapel, but bus stops outside for skegness, fantasy island, mablethorpe.we drove into chapel parked in long stay car park. £2.10 all day. short walk to beach.on our last day we parked there did the beach. then caught the bus to fantasy island. came back about 8pm, went for a meal, then drove 2 hours home, plus has fishing on your doorstep.we hired 2 pods for 4 adults and 5 children. cheaper than a caravan and spread us out more. each pod was a minute walk apart.cannot say how pleased we were.
