With the Atlantic Ocean just across from the Park entrance, holidaymakers have easy access to rock pools, and further coastal walks into both Portrush and Portstewart. These can be enjoyed along the spectacular Port Path (also known as the Ulster Way / Causeway Coast Way).

Carrick Dhu Holiday Park is located on the Causeway Coastal Route, the A2 Portrush to Portstewart Road running between these two popular seaside resorts. Situated just outside Portrush, visitors can enjoy the award-winning West Bay beach, at least two local restaurants and Ballyreagh Golf Course all within a kilometre's walk.

We have invested considerably in the provision of completely new touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes – while this has reduced the number available to 35, they are more spacious and with hard surfacing for vehicles / caravans, they offer better conditions in all weathers.

Some pitches are longer - pitches 14 to 18 - and more suitable for motorhomes. Artificial grass offers further comfort, and securing awnings will require metal pegs, which are to be inserted in the natural grass just at the edge of the artificial grass, and, if required for just next to a caravan, sandbags (supplied) for tying to.

Our on site facilities include 35 Touring caravan / motorhome hard-surfaced fully serviced pitches, modern family shower/laundry facilities with disabled access, and a safe and accessible children’s outdoor play area. Guests can also avail of our onsite Chip Shop, Coffee Shop, our Recreation/Table Tennis Hall and a helpful Visitor Information Centre.

The Atlantic Ocean is just across from the Park entrance with easy access to rock pools, and further coastal walks into both Portrush and Portstewart can be enjoyed along the spectacular Port Path (also known as the Ulster Way / Causeway Coast Way): alternatively, why not try cycling along the Sustrans off-road route, or relax on the regular scheduled bus service? All options start from just outside the Park.

Super weekend with great weather

Great location of this site on the North Coast between Portrush and Portstewart. Pitches are well kept and benefit from an Astro turf area beside each caravan or camper. Good modern toilet blocks & showers that are kept very clean.

A gem

Welcomed warmly and efficiently, it took only minutes to check in and then we set up in the walled tent area, which was roomy, well kept and had electric hook up points. Best facilities we've ever had on a site, toilets, showers and common areas all spotless. Location is excellent too, 15min walk into the town and off the road so very quiet. A good atmosphere through the site and curfews were adhered to by all staying. Can't wait to get back!

Within walking distance to portrush this site offers everything for a family get away. The facilities, toilets and showers are kept clean even in the busy times of the day. The pitches are well spaced giving loads of out door space.

We stayed for five nights from the Easter weekend on what is a great, level site for a motorhome. In a great location on the coast road between Portstewart and Portrush, and on a bus route, the site is will laid out, spacious and tidy. The toilet block and service facilities are first class, the former being cleaned daily and well maintained. A highly recommended site for the North Coast.
