Carrick Dhu Caravan Park, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Carrick Dhu Holiday Park is located on the Causeway Coastal Route, the A2 Portrush to Portstewart Road running between these two popular seaside resorts. Situated just outside Portrush, visitors can enjoy the award-winning West Bay beach, at least two local restaurants and Ballyreagh Golf Course all within a kilometre's walk.

We have invested considerably in the provision of completely new touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes – while this has reduced the number available to 35, they are more spacious and with hard surfacing for vehicles / caravans, they offer better conditions in all weathers.

Some pitches are longer - pitches 14 to 18 - and more suitable for motorhomes. Artificial grass offers further comfort, and securing awnings will require metal pegs, which are to be inserted in the natural grass just at the edge of the artificial grass, and, if required for just next to a caravan, sandbags (supplied) for tying to.

Our on site facilities include 35 Touring caravan / motorhome hard-surfaced fully serviced pitches, modern family shower/laundry facilities with disabled access, and a safe and accessible children’s outdoor play area. Guests can also avail of our onsite Chip Shop, Coffee Shop, our Recreation/Table Tennis Hall and a helpful Visitor Information Centre.

The Atlantic Ocean is just across from the Park entrance with easy access to rock pools, and further coastal walks into both Portrush and Portstewart can be enjoyed along the spectacular Port Path (also known as the Ulster Way / Causeway Coast Way): alternatively, why not try cycling along the Sustrans off-road route, or relax on the regular scheduled bus service? All options start from just outside the Park.

This site is spotlessly clean. The staff are always around cleaning the toilet block and cutting grass etc. Easy check in. Great facility and a short walk to the town. The pitch was a great size. A good restaurant close by and another pub just a few minutes away. Nice coastal walk to take in the sea air.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Toilet and showers were spotless the whole time we were there, and that was over a bank holiday weekend. Location is perfect for walking into portrush and lidls is only a 15 min walk away aswell. Will definitely be back

Lovely caravan site, we where camping in a tent 2 adults and 2 kids, nice and clean, lovely park, toilets/shower and dish washing area all clean, has a chippy on site but no shop which I think wud benefit everyone but again u can drive 5 mins down the road to a shop too. Over all had a great weekend and looking forward to getting back

All good here.Very clean site. A wee shop on site for milk and bread, snacks would be good.A notice of time when showers and toilets are closed. No notice at all. Should be a set time.Internet is OK. Still a great spot. Power and water great. I'll be back in two weeks time.CheersJohn.

This is our go to site ...we camped here a lot and now we have a caravan we stay here.Site is spotless, don't stick the hand in with rates like other local sites and the serviced pitches are really handy. Definitely will be staying again.

Good site with clean facilities, large shower and toilet block, good priced laundry (£2 each washer & dryer) well kept pitches and surroundings. Friendly staff on site. Nice wee chippy at gates, basic menu but good. Nice walk into Portrush along beach path ( suitable for prams,wheelchairs and dog walking ) although quite steep at first bit. takes about 20mins bimble to town centre.

The caravan park was clean and tidy, and the staff worked hard throughout our stay. The toilet and shower block was kept spotless, and the reception team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this park to others
