Camping très agréable et calme, avec des emplacements suffisants et ombragés une partie de la journée. Plusieurs bornes à eau évitent d'aller obligatoirement aux sanitaires pour remplir bouteilles et gourdes. Sanitaires corrects. Piscine bienvenue ; les bouées mises à disposition sont un plus pour les enfants.Accueil agréable, bien que la barrière de la langue soit réelle.Un seul petit bémol : les horaires d'ouverture de l'accueil ne correspondent pas entre l'affichage et la réalité, et le fait qu'il faille s'adresser au bar. Mais peut-être est-ce le fait que nous sommes venus pour le 14 juillet (férié)Merci de bien vouloir préciser sur le site web qu'il est nécessaire d'avoir une prise-raccord spéciale pour accéder à l'électricité.

Good facilities, great pool & Bar/restaurant. Very rural with lovely villages and hamlets to discover. Some nice towns to explore and shopping very good.

Nous avons passé un agréable moment au camping. C’était calme et reposant. Pour les plus téméraires l’eau-de la piscine est à 22, mais nous nous sommes baigné tout de même.

We stayed on a cycling trip for one night in tents. With a few changes the site could be really nice. First off both the swimming pool and more importantly the showers were cold. Secondly some provision for those following La VeloFrancette such as a small shed with kettle microwave etc would make things really good. This is common practice on other sites along the route. The emphasis on this site seems to be catering for mainly British Senior caravanners. I guess its horses for courses.
The temperature of the swimming pool was 26 degrees when you stayed. What makes it seem cooler is the delta between the pool temperature and the ambient temperature. The showers are thermostatically controlled in each cubicle, all you have to do is turn it accordingly. If you felt there was no hot water you should have come and told us.We have never been asked for such facilities by people cycling the velo francette. There are microwave and kettles available, again all you had to do was ask. In our experience everybody we have seen following the velo francette has been adequately equipped. We store circa 120 caravans on site which is available to any demographic who wish to store or stay here.

Camping très calme à part l'âne qui faisait trop de bruit sinon séjour très bien ainsi que les campeurs britanniques.

This site is a real find. A beautiful area within easy reach of all the ferry ports. The site is very quiet, except for the wonderful birdsong, the pitches are large, the trees, shrubs and plants are well cared for and make the site attractive to both guests and wildlife. In addition to this the river Thouet, with stunning walks, is literally on the doorstep. It’s an extremely relaxing site and we look forward to visiting again soon. Derek and Denise Woodhouse
