A very friendly and welcoming caravan site with English speaking owners who care about their visitors. The area is typically French with open rural landscapes with towns and villages within easy driving or walking distance. All of the villages have restaurants with menus to cater for every taste.

As usual the hosts make you feel so welcome and it seams nothing is to much when you ask. This to me is what true customer service should be and they have it absolutely spot on. I have been there with my wife and on my own both times fantastic It’s so rare to find this in the ever changing world. Thanks you two and seen you both soon

Had a wonderful couple of days on this site. Everything nice and clean. The site very friendly as we're the owners. The village was within easy walking. Very well sign posted. Beautiful surrounding area, hopefully we will return.

Lovely relaxing stay, beautiful campsite, Very nice english owners, however attracts many other nationalities. it is on a popular cycling route. There is an evening bar and restaurant on site. Nice swimming pool. It does attract many repeat visitors which is a sign of its popularity. Airvault is a typical quiet french town with a couple of restaurants, shops including a very good supermarketThe area has some lovely and interesting places to visit.

Just returned from a great stay at Camping de Courte Vallée — a top site for caravaners. Run by an ex-British military owner and his wife, the site is spotless and very well maintained. Pitches are large, level, and well-spaced, with easy access to electric and water. Facilities are first class — always clean with plenty of hot water.The friendly on-site bar serves great food — ideal after a day out. The location is perfect for walking and cycling, with beautiful routes along the nearby river, and a lovely park right next door.A real bonus is the on-site caravan storage — secure and perfect for those looking to leave their van in France and save on ferry crossings.Nearby Airvault is full of charm with good bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. Poitiers and La Rochelle make excellent day trips, and the historic village of Oradour-sur-Glane is about a 2-hour drive.Highly recommend Camping de Courte Vallée — I’ll definitely be back!

The site is beautiful, trees and flowers are amazing especially at this time of year. You can hear the birds, 2 cuckoos chatting !The pitches are immaculate, constantly mowed, good access to water and electrics.The swimming pool is perfect, lots of sun loungers. The bathrooms are always clean and tidy.The owners are very helpful and lovely people.The area around the site is very pretty rural France. Airvault’s and St Loup are perfect, they have lovely bars and restaurants which are reasonably priced. Airvault’s supermarket has everything you need. Also, the local vet is fantastic and speaks good English.The storage facility for your caravan is ideal, certainly saves money on ferry fares.Overall 10 out 10.Will be back in 2 weeks. Can’t wait.

Stayed for a couple of nights before going to Bidart. Owners were very accommodating and sociable. Liked spending time on this site.
