All the facilities where great

Gill, your host, is just lovely. We stayed in one of the shepherds huts / camping pods and thoroughly enjoyed the warmth and comfort it provided (in December!). The facilities are absolutely adequate for the size of the site (nice touches like wheelbarrows to move gear from the car), and the location is ideal as a launchpad for the local area. We ate at The Buck across the road and enjoyed engaging service and good food (huge portions). We will be back with friends and kids for a longer stay in 2023.

Well looked after, good facilities, direct access to the hills. Remember your van levelling chocks !

The pod we stayed in was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The facilities are great. Clean showers, clean toilets and easy to access. A really wonderful long weekend, spent walking, entertaining the dog, eating in local pubs and generally relaxing in the quiet. Gill is lovely, really welcoming and great local knowledge of things to do and other businesses in the area. Most of all though, really, it is a stunningly beautiful spot in any weather and a great place to relax.

Pitching arrangements were clear on arrival, site was quiet with only one other van there. Our pitch gave a nice view over the village rooftops and was reasonably level, with electric hookup.Good clean single toilet and excellent shower a short walk over the road at the farm. It was fine when we were there but I imagine there is a strain on it when site is busy! Local pub even closer than the ablutions!

I regularly visit the area and always enjoy camping at Buckden. It’s a lovely family run site with great facilities. The owners are also very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

This was our 5th or 6th stay at Buckden Camping. We love the views and walking in the area and visit whenever we are in the Dale's. A very special place.The owners are friendly and welcoming and always provide plenty of local information. The facilities are always clean and well looked after although it is a bit of a trek down to the farm from the campsite but not a problem. Site not really suitable for large motorhomes. There is always some improvement to the site each time we visit. The site wi fi is a real bonusThe site is a perfect get away

Had another brilliant time at Buckden Camping in a pod . Blessed with decent weather ! The area is beautiful and just perfect for walks from the site and the dogs loved the river .The facilities are spotless at the site and it is also a bonus that there is a pub very close by. I am already planning my next trip .
