We have stayed here a few times now and we love it. Friendly welcoming staff, clean facilities but showers are still way too hot for us with no option to turn temp down especially in the hot weather so I used the family shower room , in the other block. The Tow Bar is a fantastic place to have a few drinks and a nice meal. Dog friendly and the staff are wonderful. Bus stop right outside to Filey/ Brid & Scarborough. Ten mins walk to Cayton Bay beach. Brilliant tourist info room with books, toys, dvds etc to buy and money goes to charity , nice touch.

A very well run, surprisingly quiet (noise level) site, despite being fully booked. Showers & toilet blocks were modern and very clean. The only improvement would be to the bases of the pitches. We have quite a big motorhome and while it is easy to level front to back it isn't as easy to level sideways and our pitch left us rolling down the hill a bit! Well located for getting into Scarborough and a good pub on site.

Arrived on site to be welcomed by very friendly reception staff who went through the location of amenities on site with us. then the rest was up to us , very clean well maintained area for motor homes / caravans with clean facilities.The Tow Bar pub serves excellent meals and right outside the site is bus stops being served every half hour.Very reasonable rates per night. Highly recommend a stay here .

From first entering site greeted by friendly staff toilets and showers lovely and clean had our bikes so perfect location

Absolutely loved everything. Staff were very friendly also the residents.. Facilities very spotless. Had everything we needed and the staff at the bar were fabulous. The food was gorgeous. We stayed on pitch 39 was very quiet and also made some friends next to us. Such a welcoming site. We also came with our dog milo and the dog walk area was perfect for him also a nice way to interact with the residents on the walk everyone and everything was perfect. We had everything we needed the beach is a couple of minutes walk and the views were spectacular. They also have a little cafe on the beach witch is great for a day at the beach they serve food hot drinks and cold drinks and some beach amenities. We were shocked at how cheap our stay was due to it being one of the best we have stayed. There is a Morrisons a short drive from the park and a bus service right at the entrance that takes you to Scarborough and whitby area. Perfect weekend away and will be returning next weekend. This is a high level campsite very clean, level pitches, very helpful staff and a great location we absolutely loved everything about it and the tow bar pub is excellent

Great location myself,wife and son spent weekend at browns campsite had a excellent bar meal at the Tow bar Friday night Staff friendly, cleanliness excellent, value for money went to see Richard Ashcroft at open air arena had a fantastic weekend

What a cracking little site this is, pitches are a great size, reception staff extremely welcoming and the toilets are lush. Thanks for a great night in the town at at the quiz. We will be back.

Our 2nd visit & enjoyed it as much as last time. Great site in lovely location. Handy for trips to Filey & Scarborough (bus stop right outside site). Friendly staff, great dog field & lovely pub at entrance to site
