Great site with spotless shower block & toilets.Site well kept and tidy. Not much to do in walking distance, a pub, chip shop, Indian.Nice walk into Colwyn bay along the cycle track if you like a nice long walk.

We have been coming to Bron Y Wendon for many years staying in either our own touring caravan or in one of the cottages. We have always had really good holidays and the toilet and shower blocks and accommodation have always been extremely clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we hope that we can continue to have some holidays in this beautiful location.

Site was good overall but the noise from trains and traffic on the A55 spoiled the experience. We would not choose to come here again.

Husband and husky had a wonderful week, it went so quick. The sunsets every night were fantastic and the views. The staff were all friendly and showers were excellent.

A well run site with helpful staff. It would have been nice if the pitches were more spaced out but the pitch was certainly large enough for our 8m caravan. Views (and sunsets) were superb - once of the most scenic sites I've visited in the UK. The site location was just off the M55, making it very quick and easy to get out and about. The ample number of toilets were kept very clean. Showers were very spacious (though water temperature tended to change when toilets were flushed). Another couple of showers would have been good, but having said that, in 10 days I never had to wait to use the shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.

This is without doubt one of the best sites in this area. Staff are friendly and helpful, site is lovely and clean and toilets are spotless. Easy walk downhill to a rocky beach. Site is located near the sea and that provides some great sunsets, see photo.Stopped here last year and this year, will definitely be staying next year.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed at this location several times. The furnishings are getting a bit tired and the beds were too firm for me(I suppose that’s personal preference), but I believe that the owners are in the process of refurbishment.The views are fantastic from the cottage. Easy access to Colwyn Bay, Conwy and Llandudno, make it an ideal place to stay. Nothing in the village itself except a very nice chip shop, but easy to get to the larger supermarkets.

Very well kept site, loos and showers clean, regularly inspected and restocked. Site not really suitable for children as there are no entertainment facilities only a small playground. The site is close to the A55 which can be traffic noisy if you are not used to it and want total peace and quite. Didn’t bother us though. There is access to the sea front just around the corner but it is not a beach, it’s very rocky. Nearest beach is 3 miles away. We used Arriva No12 bus that goes between Rhyl and Llandudno with connections to other locations to get about on a week rover ticket, bus stop just in Llandulas. Shell petrol station on main roundabout has provisions. Pitches are quite adequate and level. The sun sets right on the horizon across Colwyn Bay so is spectacular from the site.
