We came a family from grandparents to grandchildren. There was fun for everybody, we hired a pedalo and played mini golf which was fun for all of us. The kids also enjoyed hours of fun on the playground. Walking around the lake with our dog and feeding the ducks and carp added extra fun to the break away. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch, the pitch was level and had good drainage (it rained well). We had a perfect view of the lake. Great value for money!

We enjoyed it that much we have already booked for another stay

IT is a lovely site, nice big pitches and surrounding fence, which stops people walking across your pitch. However the facilities are dated , but showers nice and hot. Didn't think they has been cleaned over the 3 days we were there.Nice if the games room was open to the touring guests to play [pool etc.Overall we will be visiting again, Husband loved the fishing, and nice walks for the dog.

We stayed a week at Bosworth. The pitch was a fantastic size and the grass freshly cut.My grandson loved the children's playground and the walk around the lake.We feed the ducks and watched the model boats on the lake racing.Showers are very clean and hot.Paul the manager can't do enough to make sure you have a good stay.Can't wait to go back and paddleboard on the lake.Definitely a great holiday and Market Bosworth has some lovely friendly pubs to visit !What's there not to like ?

We stayed on a pitch for campervans it has full hook up and water on each pitch which are large enough for two VW camper, very clean and secure, with beautiful views and facilities.

Driving into the site we were impressed with the lovely lodges and the beautiful lakes. The lady on reception was very nice and helpful. We then drove through what looked like a third world country. The road and pitches are in desperate need to be repaired, we literally sat our caravan in a massive muddy puddle. Some people were using tarpaulin as awnings attached to the side of their vehicles, the seasonal pitches were full of discarded tables, chairs, plant pots and canoes. The area looked more like a refugee camp. You have to be lucky to get plugged into the electric too as everyone just picks a random socket! The shower/toilet facilities were clean but in desperate need of updating. They state that the site will be updated but I guess they have been saying that for a long time and it's just use it an excuse. We didn't stay the full length we had booked and came home early.

I stayed for 3 nights in my motorhome to allow me to attend a work event in Leicester. As a lone traveller and a wheelchair user, getting a suitable site can be tricky. In general, this site was pretty good. I could access almost everything I needed independently. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great (not entirely unexpected in November) and the only place I could walk my assistance dog was around the lake but there is no path - it's all grass, which became boggy after torrential rain. A simple path around the lake (compressed gravel) would really help improve accessibility and make it an excellent site.

Toilets/showers not cleaned especially well. We were only tourists on site everyone else either living there long term or staying there to go to work so a different atmosphere to the place.

The shower/toilet facilities are poor and in need of refurbishment and would expect better for £40 per night!The site has too many resident vans with workers leaving for work at 6/6.30 in the morning/s.Grass surrounding and lakeside beach area requires increased maintainence...full of weeds etc.Fishing very good and free.Unable to book online?
