We pit stopped here on our way home from Devon. The staff, site shop and water sports were brilliant. The toilets and showers need to be cleaned more regularly with everyone bringing sand off the beach.
We have been coming to this site yearly and we do love it here! Really great to wind down, enjoy some paddling and watch beautiful sunsets! Pitches are spacious and the site is well maintained. The vibe seemed a little off this year… can’t quite put my finger on it but it wasn’t as welcoming and friendly as previous years. Don’t get me wrong we still had fun but something was a little off…
This is one of many times we have stayed here and we absolutely love it every single time, the site is clean, friendly staff, decent facilities
The pitch was a great size and we had lakeside access and view which was lovely. This site could be 5* but is let down by the toilet block which needs an update, the fencing needs repair and painting and the beautiful big sand pit which my Grandchildren loved was half overgrown with grass and has not had any maintenance for a long while. We were asked via the site leaflet not to wander around the lodges which I totally get but there is such a divide to the site it feels like a "them and us" site which is a shame. I couldn't even take the baby for a walk because of the no entry signs on the roads. All this said we did have a nice time and would consider returning but please have a good look around and see what we saw.
Easy booking and reception process. We last camped with caravan 20 years ago...I should have researched the current Bosworth Lakeside facility more. No cafe/restaurant facility for touring van people(Lodge Owners only says the door sign but we never saw it open. )The very large play castle now gone- replaced by a tiny structure.Toilets and showers were good. We had a nice grass pitch with ehu. Children seemed to enjoy the small sandy "beach" area. Nice large walk around the lake.
The pitch was spacious, with a great view. All the facilities we needed and they were clean and well maintained. A lovely break.
Very nice site now the lodges were finished. Could do with a swimming pool next to the kids park to make my rating a 5
Been coming to bosworth water park for years and overall it’s getting better every time I come. No problems with access, location of the pitch was perfect ( although not quiet in the day as your right by everything) there’s plenty to do and different pitches for different needs and the price reflects on that. Definitely worth a visit, beautiful place , plenty to do and see.
A little isolated bur Peaceful site. Beautiful groundsHelpful staff..
We stayed in the Mallard lodge. It is very near the reception and shop. We had the most incredible views across the lake and the sunsets were fantastic. We walked all the path that were not private with our dogs on the lead. The lodge had a veranda and a hot tub. We did not require the hot tub. But, the verandah was excellent especially in the afternoon and evening as the sun was there. We had a great fence and gate on the verandah that let us keep the door open and our little dogs could watch the world.
