The view over the lake and the little beach were beautiful however we were thoroughly disappointed with the lack of interest of the staff. We were only there 2 nights and on 2 of the days there were power cuts as they are doing extensive work to set up the lodges. We spent several hours each day without electricity and only found out there was a problem after checking our own caravan for issues for one and a half hours and then going to reception to ask if they had issues. It would have been nice if someone had just popped to the caravaners to explain the situation.

It was a nice place, friendly staff, pubs and restaurants near by, would go back summer time to make use of facilities.

Beautiful location but…

Iddon, Lisa - 08/10/2021

Our stay at Bosworth Water Park was reasonable. The location is beautiful and the activities available on-site fantastic. But as campers, the toilet and shower facilities were really poor, some of the worst I’ve ever seen on a campsite. The door with a code is difficult to use and sometimes inaccessible. Once inside, the whole area was unclean, dated, and really unpleasant to use. For that reason alone, we wouldn’t return, but if it wasn’t for that (and the whole site is being redeveloped over the winter), then it would have been a lovely stay.

Staff are a credit to the site, very approachable and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We made use of the park and the pedlos. We would love to come back in the summer.

Friendly staff

Although 130 miles from home look forward to coming here to meet friends. The staff are helpful and friendly and the park itself is beautiful.everywhere is kept clean and it is a relaxing atmosphere. The only reason I did not rate the activities is we do not not have young children although those we saw where having fun ,and we didn't leave the site but again those that did had nothing but good things to say about the area.

Out of season

Kirby, Robert - 21/09/2021

A thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay right by the lakeside. Facilities were a little tired but reasonably clean. The occasions they fell below par were the fault of other campers not bothering to clean up after themselves, (sinks blocked with food, loos not flushed etc.) Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and couldn't do more to make us welcome. We went just after the school summer holidays so not too busy but facilities still open. Few kids, huge bonus.Would definitely return but choose off peak again.

We didn't camp

Lindsay, Jaci - 15/09/2021

My hubs and I stayed in the mallard Lodge. The brochure made it sound like it was opposite a quite lake. NOPE, it's right by the main reception, amusement arcade and public toilets. Please please please don't let this put you off. We found the double glazing worked really well and as long as you dint mind the odd busy time of year its fine.Lodge was clean and well equipped. They even put some ice in there for us as it was 28-30 degrees and was well needed. Plenty of space and sofa so comfy we both had turns falling asleep on it for mid afternoon naps. The staff and the owners ate BRILLIANT, eye contact, say hello, ask if you need anything, happy to help and Flo, the puppy is adorable.Cafe is basic but that all you need, jackets, breakfasts, burgers, and yummy cakes. The cold fridge has massive fresh made rolls and pasta salads. Bottle if prosecco was pricey but better than having to walk into town.Lots of local attractions within 20mins drive to keep you occupied for the week. We didn't use any on site shower or cleaning facilities. Owners cleaning EVERY MORNING from around 8am keeping place clean and tidy. It's not as big as I thought it would be however we will DEFINITELY be coming back, maybe camp this time and see how it compares. Thanks team, see you soon

Could be a nice site but not when we were there sadly.

Levison, David - 11/09/2021

The site was pretty busy when we stayed and sadly our pitch was next to very noisy campers who, despite the clear rules about loud music, chose to play their dance music until we had to phone the warden to get them to stop.Even then they continued singing in their van until 4am!The wash facilities weren't very clean (the outside washing up area was covered in food remnants from previous users) and none of the male showers had working locks on the doors. The toilets were quite often left soiled by the previous occupant.I can see how this could be a really nice site but sadly the people staying at the time we were there just didn't seem to respect the needs of other campers or the facilities themselves.

Seen better days!

Harris, Gabrielle - 11/09/2021

It’s a shame that there is such potential and things have been left to deteriorate. The coded toilet facilities were disgusting. We had to wait 3 days to get soap in the dispenser. Toilets were filthy and couldn’t use the showers as would have been dirtier coming out. Sight was really noisy at night/early hours - didn’t see any security around. Obviously with new development planned they have stopped investing in camping side of park.
