The site felt safe as the tent area was enclosed.Drinking water and toilets and shower were very close and convenient. The showers in the tourist complex are the best showers I’ve experienced on a campsite:perfect temperature, fully enclosed cubicles, plenty of space, clothes actually stay dry while showering. Definitely made the beach experience more pleasant, the fact we could shower enjoyably after.Beautiful location and scenery. Walking out of the tent in the morning to the beach with the children to bodyboard was an amazing memory they will never forget. Staying on the beach until after dark was magical. Stunning moon rises and sunsets. Beautiful scenery from the viewing point above, which we drove to.Only small niggle was that tents felt quite close together and they placed people right beside us when there were other pitches available, which I thought was a little strange. This didn’t outweigh all the wonderful memories and facilities at all, and could be easily avoided.

Had the most perfect weekend with the family over bank holiday. We were expecting awful weather amd we were prepared for hiding out in our caravan but we managed two glorious days walking along the beach before a bank holiday breakfast at Waves. Site was lovely and clean; great beach access and kids felt secure to go for walks. They are 14, 13 and 11. Lots of facilities on site but did not use as beach was our big draw. We will definitely be back!

On arriving we noticed the eco car chargers weren't there as advertised, which meant we had to find a charge point in Coleraine. The staff cleaned the shower s an toilets first thing, but they weren't great by lunch time, the 1 car per pitch was completely ignored and the security didn't seem concerned, even allowed large camp fire on 2nights which bellowed grey smoke , footballs kicked around hitting off tents an kids up and down on scooters till 1.30 am We took ourselves off site and enjoyed the scenery around benone, other campers weren't impressed the pool and amenities all had a charge nothing was included which was a shame the children couldn't make use , Benone is a lovely area an setting just a shame about few things that let's it down

One word, toilets , they need updated

We stayed in one of the Pods for 5 people 2 adults a 12 year old and 2 baby’s 1 year old and 8 months oldPod was spotless clean warm and comfortable Toilets and showers were very clean considering the amount of people staying.Shower had great pressure and water was warm and room had a heater making it very comfortable.Grounds were beautiful,clean and very well kept with everything you could need to hand.The children loved the heated splash pool which was spotless clean and well maintained with a lifeguard We had an amazing 2 nights and would definitely come back .Would be even better if we could hire travel cots and high chairs just to save on space packing them to come with us .Theres a beautiful beach just a minutes walk away and also a shop and a chippy.A short drive takes you to Limavady in one direction and Castlerock in the other direction which again has a beautiful beach,shop,bakery,takeaway and a bar.Definitely a great place to stay.

My wife and I had a really restful time at benone complex it was so spotless clean the toilet blocks where always tidy and showers where warm at all times and it was so quiet in the mornings we would definitely stay benone complex again I would recommend it.

Initially booked for 3 nights but we were luckily able to extend by another night as the weather was on our side! Great camping pitches surrounded by pine trees - lovely to wake up to the sound of waves from the beach and many different birds. The facilities seemed well maintained - if a bit old and tired in places. The toilets and shower were always clean. Great cafe called Waves a stones throw from the campsite had lovely breakfast options - a shame it didn't open later in the evening. The splash pool was a highlight for my children - aged 8 and 5 - we had two sessions in our 4 days and they loved it. Nearby is coleraine, Portstewart and Portrush with so many great places to eat and amusement parks and souvenir/toy shops. Planning to come back next year.

We stayed in a touring caravan, the pitch was well used the grass where the awning goes was mostly dried mud with a couple of patches of black oil which we had to cover up before putting the awning over it. The toilets and wash facilities could have been cleaner with signs of vandalism on the ceiling and walls they also could do with an upgrade.The site location is great with a board walks to the beach which is a short walk away , a cafe, paddling pool, and surf school all on location.Their is poor to no phone coverage.

Beautiful setting and everything you need on site for kids to enjoy. The cafe is fantastic and very relaxed staff are very friendly making the holiday experience great. A shirt drive takes you other lovely scenic sites.

We loved everything about the site. All the facilites were excellent and we also loved the proximity to the beautiful beach. We will definately visit again
