My wife and I stayed in one of the deluxe pods with our golden retriever for a weekend. We were met and directed to our pod on arrival and then showed how the hot tub operates etc, a very friendly welcome! The pod was absolutely spotless. The pod was well equipped with a heater, microwave and a small fridge. The toilet and shower was a perfect addition to the pod. The hot tub was very clean and was a lovely place to relax. The park itself was well laid out with a very well equipped cook house, separate shower block, a laundry room etc. The kids play park looked great. The lark is a great base to explore, we ventured up to Girvan for a walk on the beach with the dog and also spent a lovely morning with a walk around the stunning loch Trool. An altogether very relaxing stay and we will definitely be back

Great time

Visited this site twice now with my husband and other family members and very much look forward to returning. We have stayed in the pods with a shower and a hot tub and it was perfect. The pods are lovely and clean. If you have children you should visit barrhill adventure playground which is around 2 miles away. There is also a small shop in barrhill if you don't want to drive to girvan. The staff on site cannot do enough for you. Nothing is an issue and they are always easy to get in touch with. Some of the girvan takeaways will also deliver to the site if you don't want to cook.

Lovely campsite stayed in my motorhome very good stopover

Excellent long weekend although started off poor but came good. Pod spacious enough for the two of us and the hot tub was sensational. We did find it too hot when weather changed but Philip turned it down for us. You have to take own bedding and plates etc but no major dramas just remember the toilet rolls 😀

We stayed in a delux pod with full bathroom! Absolutely brilliant loved the hot tub and fire pit, the nearest town is a 40 min walk away so if you run out of stuff will need to drive to girvan as the wee town shop is only open until 12pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Site is very clean staff very helpful and friendly, met new friends had a lovely time will defiantly stay again 😊

We have been here 4 times now we always enjoy it liviing in the city can be non stop so when we go to barrhill holiday park its nice just to relax and unwind phil and laura are really nice to and always attend to our needs the facilities are always maintained well and always clean to we will be back next year.

Wet weather cover was a lifesaver / having access to the cook house saved a wash out on a wet weekend
