Excellent site, lots of nice walks and close to Ballater which has a good selection of restaurants and pubs. Shower block top marks for cleanliness and site grounds are well maintained. Would definitely recommend a stay at this location.

First visit to Ballater during our epic Scotland tour adventure with my wife and friends in two caravans with seven Miniature Schnauzer dogs. Four of ours and three with our friends.What an absolute delight to stay at such a wonderful caravan and camping site.We stayed for three nights over the Easter Weekend but wish it could have been longer.The campsite is spotlessly clean and located in a prime position adjacent to the river Dee.Access is easy to the centre of Ballater village which has all the amenities a caravanner could wish for.In our case good walks for our dogs is essential. There are many good walks adjacent from the site which we enjoyed.The site is close to Balmoral and Braemar which we visited.The toilet facilities are immaculate and considering over the EasterBank Holiday the site was very busy, the facilities were never overcrowded and always clean.My only minor negative observation was the lack of anywhere to put shower gel and shampoo in the shower cubicles.

Just back from a week's holiday with friends and we can't fault this site. Fully serviced pitch was immaculate as was the site itself plus the amenities were first class.Well done to all Staff please keep up the good work and we look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful site, great facilities, easy walk into town

We had a great Easter weekend at Ballater Campsite. It's really well maintained and relaxed campsite, staff were really welcoming and friendly, my little girl even got a chocolate treat at reception on arrival, she was very happy! The facilities are very good and very clean at all times. Great location for walking into Ballater. Also ideal for cycling and walking, great routes right from the campsite. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a love stay.

This is a lovely site with lovely views and good facilities. We would definitely recommend this site to others.

Stayed for one night and was perfect, close to town, clean showers and toilets

During our 3 night stay the site was fully booked. Since our last visit there has been more improvements made to the site with more beech hedging planted and new flower beds, which will enhance the site when mature. Although the site was fully booked, it was really quiet. Nice walks direct from the site, along the golf course and river, but many more to choose from. Staff are always friendly and happy to help.
